Let's be honest, if Everton hadn't waited until the final day to try and flog him this would have all been easily avoided. Absolute state of those 'experts' working on our recruitment. Dwight was in floods of tears last night by all account (his girlfriend said so on Instagram). Shame on all of those at Everton and Palace that caused this situation. He should have been out of the door as soon as Ndiaye came back from ACON, not in the final minutes of the transfer window.

He's been treated abysmally by Palace and to be discarded without any apparent care or explanation would send massive red flags up to any future signings as well as the current squad who I bet won't appreciate the ill treatment of a peer.
If it was me I'd be wondering if it was the type of organisation I'd like to continue working for and who it could happen to next.
I don't mind Palace at all but seems there's a lot of issues there at the moment. I certainly wouldn't prefer them to go down rather than Forest or West Ham.
Anyway he's got time to train hard, get mins where he can and take his time to pick the right next move for him.

If Everton fulfilled their part of the transfer and Palace completed a medical with him and submitted a deal sheet, they ought to be obligated to complete the transfer—not simply can't the deal after the deadline for unknown reasons.
