2025/26 Dwight McNeil

He’s so slow it’s hard to tell if he was really lazy in tracking his runner or if he was actually running as fast as he can go. Either way he’s not good enough.

He actually put his head down and went for it, and still 3 toddlers ran past him in flip flops.

He's lazy minded, always slow to react. Always on his heels

You don't have to be lightening quick in this league if you can read the play and think proactively

Still think he'd be fine if he was playing on the left. Has produced many good performances for us at left wing in the past. His total lack of a right foot is embarassing, but it's on Moyes that he selects him at RW over and over again despite the fact it just does not work.

The fact that Moyes picked him ahead of Rohl after the Villa performance, and the fact that he was substantially outrun, out worked, and outperformed by the oldest man on the pitch is something both Moyes and McNeil should be heartily ashamed of.

The fact that Moyes will pick him again and again, is why he cannot continue as our manager next season. I absolutely refuse to believe that he has no other option than to play a man who will not run, will not tackle, will not drive forward with the ball. I would rather play jimmy garner on the right, or Dibling, or Coleman or Patterson that that utter waste of oxygen McNeil.

They could hold a raffle each week for someone to play instead and you'd still get more output. Rohl should be right in on Moyes today asking why he was dropped for that. Given how Leeds ran us ragged first half, Rohl's athleticism would have been useful as well.

It's when mcneil puts his head down to run and doesn't change pace at all that gets me.

You'd love to think he knew that was his final home performance for Everton and he decided to give one final FU to the fans by way of giving 5% effort maximum and refusing to help us win the game.
Closest I’ve seen the fans to booing a home player for a long time at the end of the second half.

I think he’d have got a bit of stick if he’d have been withdrawn during play

Was disgusted by his cameo at Sunderland but last night may have been worse.

I know he doesn't think Dibling is ready at this level, but nobody's convincing me that we'd be any worse off if he played over McNeil

It was a short loosing performance last night mate.

We 100% should go with Tyler and persevere like we did with Barry - after recent results is Europe still a possibility - not sure …..so we have an opportunity to bring lads like Tyler etc on.

People absolutely deluded if they think Moyes will drop him and never have him play.

Mykolenko is an awful player but you can't deny at least he tries. Doesn't hide the fact he's awful obviously. But Christ, how Mcneil gets away with sauntering up and down the pitch which eventually ends up with Leeds scoring is beyond me. Yet Moyes will stick with him.
