Even I could play against him and easily force him down the wing, knowing he 100% would not get a right footed cross in.

Agree with all of that - he's such a limited player. Crossing off a dead ball good, otherwise garbage. No pace, no right foot, no aerial threat, little physicality. Annoying that somebody saw him and thought he could be a difference-maker for Everton, really.

The thought occurred to me that when we look at prospective signings in the summer - set piece delivery should be one of the factors we look at because when McNeil is out, we look levels below what we do when he's in the side.

Seems Moyes’ arrival has shown improvement in most player’s performances. I want to see a string of matches where Dwight and Ndiaye are featured to see if Dwight is still Dwight or if he elevates his game.

We are going from aiming for 17th this season to 6th next season? I think that's a bit of a stretch. It will take a massive rebuild over multiple seasons and McNeil will be useful for that period.

Not a hope of even aiming for the top 6 yet, let’s be honest. Villa are 7th and they are absolutely miles better in every department.

Top six next season is a huge ask. He's decent enough squad player for a mid Prem team,which is where we will be.
