Agree with all of that - he's such a limited player. Crossing off a dead ball good, otherwise garbage. No pace, no right foot, no aerial threat, little physicality. Annoying that somebody saw him and thought he could be a difference-maker for Everton, really. As mentioned earlier on by Neiler, if the clubs ambition for next season is top 6 then this fella and others will have to step up to the plate massively.
Being honest, I think we need far better.
His lack of pace is worrying.
He shouldn’t be starting games for a club with high ambition.
Moyes was on last week saying we miss him from free kicks ect , he will play a part for this team next year
Pemberton?Capable of 5 goals a season, he's better than Pemberton or Davies. Squad player if he can't be unloaded. Come home Richarlison.
We are going from aiming for 17th this season to 6th next season? I think that's a bit of a stretch. It will take a massive rebuild over multiple seasons and McNeil will be useful for that period. As mentioned earlier on by Neiler, if the clubs ambition for next season is top 6 then this fella and others will have to step up to the plate massively.

Oh no doubt we won’t be anywhere that mark. Being realistic for next season, I think we’ll finish 10-13th.Not a hope of even aiming for the top 6 yet, let’s be honest. Villa are 7th and they are absolutely miles better in every department.
Top six next season is a huge ask. He's decent enough squad player for a mid Prem team, which is where we will be.As mentioned earlier on by Neiler, if the clubs ambition for next season is top 6 then this fella and others will have to step up to the plate massively.

Never rated him but the stats say otherwise. As mentioned earlier on by Neiler, if the clubs ambition for next season is top 6 then this fella and others will have to step up to the plate massively.
