And lest not forget he almost died on the pitch a few years back, he's one strong lad, both mentally and physically.

Good point.

Duffy seems very solid in the air and great at the last ditch stuff, but his distribution is at times poor.

A fair point. He seems more of a no nonsense, old school CB to me. More David Weir than David Luiz.

Jagielka's done all right for us like and his distribution for the most part has been poor.

Wasn't Toccy one of those who didn't rate Fellaini originally?

Even the most knowledgeable make mistakes!

I'm no expert myself like but Duffy has impressed me every time I've seen him. When you consider his physical assets and the way that mentally, he seems unaffected and not at all intimidated, you really can't write him off as he's only 20. He's got years and years ahead of him and already he's not looked out of his depth, and for a very young CB that is a fantastic sign.

I'd echo all that mate. Looked a player right from his first team debut.

So whoever posted Coleman could be our right midfield 'solution' in the right midfielder thread could possibly be onto something. More end product like that please, Seamus.
