Drenthe the enigma

Was upsetting to see him play yesterday, was a liability 90% of the time.

CROSS THE FKKKIN BALL! or lay it off, and look for space.

Running through 5 players and looking to hit the deck is not Everton player stuff. SORT IT !

I thought yesterday was his best well rounded game. He is a match winner and worth points over a season. On a different day he would have got that penalty and we would be at Wembley - that type of impact player is pricessless. His workrate yesterday i thought was immense but tired from 70 mins onwards.

sell me some of what your on lad

Yesterday was one of if not the worst game he's played for us. Every time he had a chance to cross he was just dribbling straight at Bardsley. He was decent around the middle of the pitch and hit a boss free kick but in attacking positions he was hopeless.

Plus losing the ball and sitting on the floor 70 yards from goal for about 10 while Sunderland attack is stupid. Neville, Heitinga and Moyes all had a go at him for that.

Plus, although he did get kicked a bit, he was diving all game. It's embarrassing.

I think he could be a great player and has shown that in the past but people need to just admit he was crap yesterday.

Great player, one who can win us games single handedly. People shouting at him need to get a grip, we've got zero creativity without him at least the lad is trying. Would you rather see Rodwell playing on the wing again?

Had a decent game yesterday but there's still areas in his game that need a bit work. If the ref would've given the deserved pen the game would've been a success for us. A couple of times he found himself stuck trying to take on people but other than that I think it was a decent performance.

Moyes won't sign him because he's a attacking flair player is a crock of ****!!

Moyes may not sign him because he may have a terrible attitude and is unwilling to learn or be part of a team!

As said by someone else drenthe could well be a player who never reaches what he could purly because of his attitude and selfishness.

I mean it's not rocket science.... Could you please help the team and defence out when were defending. Avoid making rash challenges where possible. And don't lie on the floor sulking after a tackle. Bingo! Great player!

Ronaldo wanted to be the best in the world. Had all the same faults as drenthe but listened and learned from SAF and became world class!

When has Ronaldo ever defended?

I dont think he is that good personally, he looks like he is this player who takes people on but he doesnt actually get past them just runs at them and either loses the ball, or stops and tries to cross.

Yesterday in the first half he missed some good opportunities to get the ball into the box, and in the second half him sitting down whilst the player he should have been marking was running towards our box was just the final straw...he deserved to come off yesterday.

Plenty. But it's a ridiculous comparison anyway.

He never defended in his life. As he went on he was further and further away from the united defence as possible. Right wing....to right wing forward...to striker with Rooney before he went real where hes left wing forward.

Drenthe that kind of player. Left or right wing forward in a attack minded team.

We're not that. Telling him to defend and track back if very funny to me.

whats the point in having a rb on the pitch if your constantly expecting help from the midfielder? its a 11 v 11 game after all, turn him into a defender and we loose a player that will probably cost abut £10 million to find. he's reckless yes, but hes one of the very few in our squad to create/score out of nothing. If i were his agent, i would advise him against playing for moyes next year, the kid will loose most of what he's good at if he does

He was gash Yesterday, but at anytime he could have taken the whole team on and smashed into the net, thats what he brings to the team.

It looks unlikely we will sign him, but I would be happy to see him stay,
