Draws

10 wins 8 draws 2 losses we are on = 38pts
12 wins 6 draws 4 losses = 42pts

Without sounding like RAWK, Look at the draws though:

Norwich: Unlucky to not the 3 points, Better side.
West Brom: They came for the draw, we hit the post 4 times.
Cardiff: Poor performance, could of had a pen.
Palace: Poor performance, probably should of been a loss but take a point over a loss
Spurs: Outplayed first half, threw everything at them second half.
Libapool: Could of taken the 3 but its bleeding them.
Arsenal: Good performance, set back when they scored but we responded well, another good point
Stoke: Poor performance, could of taken 3 points but playing like that you'll take a point.

A point is better than a loss, why is this so hard for you to accept Steven ?

We go for the win every game but sometimes it doesn't fall your way, thats Football.

Hi

Just looking at the league table at I have noticed Manchester City have scored 57 goals were as we have only scored 32, Does anyone else think we should just score more goals? Seeing us with only 32 goals makes me worry

The teams above us have 39,57,38

Do 1 dixie.

Ok, I take back what I said. I know we go for the win in games. Too many draws like last season will stop us getting CL. thats what I meant

I don't think you'll find too many evertonians objecting to us scoring more goals. Is suggest the disparity between us and those above us is mainly due to money and us taking a few games to settle into a new style of play.

Ste is correct tho really, the draws will come back to haunt us, it happens tho, teams dont always get the results their performance deserves, for example, we really should have lost the Palace game.

We won't be haunted by anything that happened in the first 10 games. It's pointless regretting anything before Martinez properly bedded in, because without that time to adjust we'd be nowhere near smashing it out of the park like we are now.

David Moyes FC (Caretaker Manager: Roberto Martinez) wouldn't be doing justice to what Moyes was achieving when he left, never mind what Martinez is doing now.

The setup that drew against Norwich, West Brom and Cardiff wasn't a realistic CL prospect, so it's irrelevant. Our last draw in what should have been a walk-over was against Palace at the start of November.

Think he is trying to say draws against the likes of palace, norwich, stoke will cost us.

I think about it, has a point

No he said "We should just go for the win"

Do you think Martinez against Stoke/West Brom etc thought "Tell you what a draw will do us here" lads don't go for the win hold on for that point

and I apologised for that.

It's ok to regret on what could have been but its best to move on stronger. That's what I think RM is also doing.

If you think we'll miss out on top 4 because of all the lost points, my only word suggestion is, let's wait till that final whistle in that final league game, shall we? I'm happy with the effort so far, and I can say it will not haunt me if we miss top 4. We've tried our best and we're improving on each performance we have. That's not something a lot of teams out there can say.
