Said it before we went to the States, he was going to Forest for a few reasons, firstly he didn't really want to come back to England, secondly Edu is big mates with Kia his agent and thirdly Moyes was never convinced on him. We chose KDH instead.

I would have wanted him at the start of the window, but when you look under the hood and do your due diligence he wasn't for us.

We need a different midfield profile now a defence screener and a first receiver a Kamara or an Onana profile type.

Yeah of all the transfer sagas I was never too upset about this one after we got KDH.

It would be different if we were losing out on Fofana or Kubo or Dibling to Forest to a reasonable transfer fee because we should be doing everything to get one or two of them done (probably only one financially)
