Dos Santos

He has talent, remember being really surprised when Barca let him go, i think he would get on well if he came to a club with a decent manager who really put an emphasis on his development and the lad himself put his head head down, he is still very young. Another great talent goes a begging at Spurs.

If he would be such a great talent and player who is seen as somebody willing to work, Barca would never let him go. Difficult to blame Spurs here, unless you want to blame every club where Dos Santos will fail.

Barca have let many good players go before they have reached their potential to be fair. Similarly Spurs have been quite a few managers since he has been there, if i remember correctly he also had bad injury problems in his first year over here. He has potential alright wheather he fulfills it or not is a different thing - still only 21.

Looks like hes of to Gala with Frankie though!

Poborsky would have done well on any other team in the Premiership, at that time.

He was very good player for Benfica, after leaving UTd.

Mexico vs USA.... I like the americans....still think they can be the Germans of modern football. Strong physically and that unborn arrogance in them, that makes them think they are world beaters. 10 more years and they'll be up there with the best.

Dos Santos... Once a very promising lad. Nowadays, he just another kid.

I definitely think they'd edge USA out if the game took place.

Better footballing side, they'd have you chasing shadows.

Still feel same way?

We've owned mexico in recent years. We finished 1st in our qualifying region despite basically never having home field advanage due to more support for latin squads than our boys even on home soil. Azteca, on the other hand, is a HUGE home field advantage. Yet we came out on top from our region. Again. And we're much more collective & in better spirits right now. Gio's brother's Jona's exclusion from the squad has not exactly gone over well & surely has distracted focus to some degree. We present a difficult matchup for them.

The only shadows anybody is chasing are mexicans & the fading shadows of their once dominnt hold on our section of the world. Those days are ovrt I can assure you. We sin't going anywhere

We never beat Mexico in Mexico City. With the exception of the last gold cup (our B squad) Mexico can't match us in the US. In Mexico City qualifiers we can't handle the air pollution and altitude. In the US qualifiers we just point to the coldest place on the map and once its 1-0 us, Mexico plays like they don't want to be there anymore.

The one sort of recent match of concequence on neutral territory, the WC round of 16 in Japan/Korea we demolished them.

I do.

Drawing with a dour team like England doesn't change anything, although the US did do better than I thought they would and you've got to give them credit. But England's lack of composure played right into your hands, they certainly aren't the bench mark for anything.
