Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

I've heard of being a campaign surrogate but still...

I'm deeply sympathetic to the fact that that they were struggling to have kids but to have it even cross your mind that it was appropriate to ask anyone who worked for you to be a surrogate is amazing, let alone after the first turned you down to ask a second!

I'd say about 30% of the people on my street are undocumented or related to someone undocumented. We live in an outspoken sanctuary city (Somerville, not Boston). ICE have tried to make an example of our city, there were spot raids on the next street. So 30% of my neighbors now live in fear.
You'll probably say, they're illegal so that's fair enough. But they are people in America who are worse off.
I know people who were planning PhD studies but have to put those plans on hold till they see what tax plan passes.
I know people who work on Cape Cod and were hit by a reduction in tourists as well as not being able to staff up for the ones that still come because of a crack down on temp visas.
I know of college students who've had courses cancelled because their professor from Iran was not allowed in to the country
I know a lot of government employees working in the Sciences in DC who have been let go because of policy changes.
I know people in California who's homes are at threat of being burnt down while the Gov't denies climate science and withdraws from the Paris Climate accord.
I know people who live by a river that GE polluted with PCB's for years. The EPA had promised to make GE clean it up but thats on hold. There is an increased risk of cancer for these people.

That's just people I know off the top of my head.
Wait till Trump has reversed all Obama's economic policies combined with the inevitable stock market slow down after the horse catches the carrot that is corporate tax relief, added to the massive cuts to the middle class to fund an infrastructure bill and pretty much everyone will be suffering but by then you'll be blaming the Democrats for a crappy economy.

All Trump's fault. Only an issue since he became president. Spare me. Sounds a lot like fear mongering.

I'm guessing plenty of tourists to Cape Cod were from those countries on the travel ban.

Hardly a reduction in tourist numbers.

Course don't get cancelled because one professor isn't available.

California's had a history of fires. To say peo people's hpmes being burnt down is due to trump and his government is ludicrous. Are the previous administrations responsible for the damage to homes etc during their terms ?

I don't quite get your point on the GE river pollution. Didn't that occur decades ago and more recently wildlife (humpback whales) have been sighted ?

Undocumented/illegals. I understand the situation of many and understand there is often a place in the US for them. I wouldn't wish to be in their position. Sanctuary cities I don't like though considering the issue law abiding citizens (both legal and undocumented/illegal) have with those whp are illegal and known/convicted criminals. I don't agree with not protecting this type of illegal.

As for the Paris Climate Change Policy. Look into it and see how many countries are meeting their obligations/expectations?

You have not once posted about Everton.

This is an Everton forum mate, not Brietbart.

This Moore bloke.

He is going to be elected, isn't he?

And IMO that will be way more depressing than when Trump was elected.

You would think that after a year of his car crash presidency and reality show White House voters would want to be sending signals that they hate the way he has created so much division and hatred in their country and humiliating his endorsed candidate at the polls is a perfect opportunity to send them.

That's not what he said though. He was not referring to America last being great during slavery times.

Shaun King has his own agenda in wanting people to believe that
If it is not what Roy Moore said, would you please provide an extended quote with additional context?

If you do not have an extended quote then the logical interpretations of the quote from the LA Times (which is what Shaun King linked) are either: 1) Moore was answering the question about the "last time" American was great and his answer is during the time slavery was legal in the United States or 2) he was not answering the question and had "his own agenda" in response to the question - an agenda that is based upon faulty history and patently absurd.

Either way, there's really no defending the statement. Nor is there justification for his referring to Native Americans as "reds" and Asian Americans as "yellows", his defiance of superior court rulings that had him twice removed from judicial office or, of course, his habit of "associating" with teenage girls while a man in his 30s.

The issue is that some claim that tourism is down because people dislike Trump and his policies, not because of specific nations on the travel ban.

For example, this is from the NYT:
"In response to a Facebook post by The New York Times, European readers overwhelmingly cited the Trump administration and its policies as reasons for avoiding or canceling trips to the United States."

And Forbes just wrote an article about a study that provides more details:
