'...and doesnt think it has legitimised white supremists or nazis.'

Care to explain why?

Who, me?

Not really, just helping you out as I noticed you havnt been here that long, and Pete has a posting style that can misconstrued at times.

But as you ask, my take is one group of loons and idiots probably feel more enboldened by Trump just being President, and this pardon wont calm that down.

But that is miles from being Legitimised. IMO.

But does he think the pardon is wrong because he thinks pardoning is wrong? Or because the pardoned is wrong?

Also, why doesn't pardoning an openly racist and violent sheriff legitimise the WS? What is the argument behind that?

And the big question, if he is seemingly at odds with Trumps actions and policies ('I think he's an idiot', remember?) why are people in the wrong in calling someone who votes for an idiot an idiot, and why does he attack people who take umbrage with the people who don't agree with Trump, EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN'T AGREE HIMSELF??!?

...while at the same time coming out with

'The USA used Swatikas the past'

'There are no Nazis in the US'

'Nazis invade countries and kill rake loads of people'

'War is ony war when lots of soldiers die'

'Well, Obama never bla bla bla etc...'

The sun is shining, its beautiful outside, perhaps a walk or as I shall shortly be doing visit a pub........

Was actually for Pete, but thanks for replying. Ok, I'll take emboldening, although if there was a word in between emboldening and legitimising, I'd take that. I think it's a massive statement from the head of state to pardon such a controversial figure after calling the WS 'fine people' (yes, he did) after one of them murdered a peaceful protester.

I guess I'm misconstruing his style then. Sorry. The evasion of questions, erroneous statements and ambiguous answers smacks of wind-up.

Dont disagree with a word of that.
