I'm not that bothered about two siding anything really, I'm just disappointed that a people I once admired have lost a certain degree of reason. I see images of Trump with a Swastika, yet even the USA used to use it.....
For me it is an abomination, but the UK was bombed by b'stards using this symbol, yet now Americans are just throwing it around in connection with their president as if it were some clever insult.
I've not seen a single post in this thread that in any way is not an attack on Trump, yet even an idiot gets one or two things right, but no, lots of clever people pushing a single line and embellishing it with Nazi connections. America does not have Nazis, you have nutters who are easily controlled, but whom you keep giving the oxygen of publicity. Nazis take over a complete country and invade and murder on an unbelieveable scale. Yet the USA stayed out of the fight against these abominations, and indeed waited to see how it went, until Germany actually declared war against you, some two years after they started. I find this "we hate Nazis and Trump" to be a grotesque lack of understanding of these b'stards and a little bit self serving. I know what I write may feel upsetting, but truth and appreciation of absolute intolerance can sometimes feel that way. The day someone on here posts something even remotely in Trumps favour will be the day you regain normality. No offence meant, but I thought Americans were better than this......

Every other politician on either side of the aisle was able to condemn them in a timely manner, not sure why Trump should get a pass for not doing so. And utterly confused by your line of argument with the old photos.
How about you name those things that Trump is getting right currently that we should be complimenting him for? A couple of pages back I praised his FEMA head pick but what else has he achieved recently?

That's for you to determine, that's my point. Anything I say, however innocuous would be attacked as being a Trump supporter. I appreciate this sounds like a cop out, but as an example, his current stance on North Korea is almost certainly correct, but now I'll get 25 responses saying it isn't.....I honestly believe that Americans are at a crossroads, left and right just lead to violence, moving forward together is your only way but I don't think you are currently able........

I am not a Trump supporter, yet I would think anyone who is would find this thread incredibly hostile. A little less sarcasm and insult might just tempt them to do do so......
I think he has been recklessly inflammatory wrt to Korea but none of the other responses to them have worked either so not sure there is a good response to that situation just varying shades of awful.
Given that his own cabinet and congressional republicans seem to be criticizing Trump in ever inceasing numbers/tone we seem closer to that than we were 6 months ago!
