Ok then, that's what we are talking about whats your point? It's an important job and it makes the appointee one of the most powerful people if not the most in the world. Its not just for the 'job of president of the united states'. Seriously?

Foreign policy and being able to understand whats going on in the world i would imagine is a big deal or should be for the US President and his cabinet. Also for his allys to have someone they can rely on and call on when they need help for many reasons too. Having the biggest military sort of helps.

So having beef with other countries can actually lead to war but yeah just for that little job of president right?

Regan for all his faults and he had many (even though the Republicans swear he was the best), at least hired good people around him and could talk properly

He wasn't child like either and didn't need his ego stroked. He listened to people too and made sure to have people who could help.

Do you seriously believe that the USA would allow Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan and Carter to actually manage the worlds biggest economy and military..........

No, congress has to approve a declaration of war but he does have power to force action against an aggressor being the commander in chief.

First i didn't say that but...

The President’s powers as Commander in Chief:

  1. He can order U.S. forces into military action if, in his judgment, the safety or strategic interests of the United States are threatened. Period.
  2. He must inform Congress of these actions within 48 hours of the event.
  3. The troops cannot be committed for more than 60 days, without Congressional approval. He may use an additional 30 days to re-deploy the troops.
  4. Until a new Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) is passed by Congress, our last three presidents have all used the AUMF passed after 9/11/2001 as broad permission to fight all terror groups and acts of terror, anywhere in the world. This is the justification for the thousands of troops presently deployed to Iraq and Syria, and for other Special Operations missions in places like Somalia and Yemen.

So hang on why was Hilary the more evil one to you? Didn't you start out by saying he was the lesser of two evils. You hinted as did Davek i believe that she wanted to start wars?

The President has powers, but others advise and pull his strings. Just look at the Presidents I listed ffs. In terms of Hilary, I couldn't care less who she wanted to bomb, I didn't want her because like Obama she was anti UK........

Right, but my point was he doesn't listen to his advisers or did you miss that? They don't even know what he is going to do or say from day to day.
They spend their life talking stuff back or defending his idiocy.

Whats not to say hes in the oval office one day sees something on fox news and calls a strike on someone before anyone has a chance to stop him that's the danger here.

He says he is always talking to his generals but when he makes these remarks they say he didn't talk to them about any of it. He keeps firing his advisers too so who know who he listens to if anyone.

and again from the list you mentioned were men who are smarter and who understand whats what and who they need to rely on. A good president know how to get the best from the people they hired. Most of the others love them or hate them did that well.

He may not listen, but that doesn't mean they will follow without agreement. If he decided to just invade China on a whim, one or two generals might just perhaps point out that it's not the brightest course of action.........

First him invading China is a declaration of war and does require congressional approval. Especially if its on a whim or they have done nothing wrong.

But per example of 9/11 or a any direct threat or act he can then.... again

If in the case of the above the generals refuse they get court marshaled for disobeying a direct order from their commander in chief. Trump is a lose canon and would want to fire the guy or girl who refuses him if he really wants it done in the supposed best interests he can.

North Korea falls under the later because they have made threats to the US and actually have fired missiles in their direction
