Just curious, what are some of your views on Trumps travel bans? Obviously you hate it because Trump done it, but why? I am genuinely looking forward to hear the responses from my fellow evertonians explaining why they are happy to live life on the left, and why they are happy to live in todays England.

Just before I head off... I would like to just reinforce the fact that Donald Trump was voted in by the American people. In my opinion, alot of Americans look at the state of Europe right now and will continue to vote against anything that replicates the likes of Germany, France, Sweden - even England! Donald Trump cares about his people, and his people only! He cares about the future of America. He will succeed in making America great again, and westernised voters all around the world will follow suit at their next election.

I believe the travel ban will alienate people against the US and in the long run be a threat to my safety.

I've got friends who live there and a couple who are moving to Berlin this winter. I've been there countless times over the years including a few months ago and it's by far one of my favourite countries, id be happy to live there. The economy is also growing well at the moment.

As I said in my previous post, have you actually been there ? do you know any Germans living there ?

The only people I ever see who say its [Poor language removed] are the type of people who read the Daily Mail and Breitbart.

I don't need to mate. I lived in Freiburg for a while and visit often. I also lived in Elwood, Melbourne. There's not much difference in the standard of living.

Historically left leaning due to immigration, heavy industry, port, all with strong union representation. Thatcher tried to tear the heart out of the unions and the city in the 80's, this just served to cement the cities left leaning views.

So what makes you so intelligent then? Typical WUM and conservative view call liberals snowflakes or debate their intelligence.

As for liberals being the minority in the world are you serious?

Remember Hilary won the popular vote. It was the electoral college that took it for Trump. Its been proven that if the election system was 1 vote per person and every vote counted the democratic party would most likely win every time. Major urban areas and cities are generally blue and with the size of California and New York and them being primarily blue it would carry them. Hence why we will never see a change to the electoral college as it would hurt the red states.

Also this whole left and right think gets really skewed nowadays because of American politics. Not all progressive liberal people see themselves as lefties. If changing with the times and being tolerant and also recognizing issues and using logic and education to fix them is bad then OK then.

Also no one is suggesting that the right are dumb. It just seems that a lot of people on the right or conservatives stick to more traditional values a lot of which can be intolerant to the changing world. They are also sometimes stuck in their ways.

Are you saying you hate integration of races and the acceptance of anyone no matter their skin colour, sexual orientation, religion etc... is a bad thing? Because that's why lefties as you call them scratch their heads when it comes to the right. They seem a bit less tolerant of anything different.

Also particularly in the US the right seem to be about profit and making people rich. That annoys people who think that yes that's a good thing but whats the point of 1% being rich if there are millions on the breadline and struggling.

Whats more weird is that most of the right voters seem to be from areas afflicted with poverty.

You hit the nail on the head that a lot of them saw a disillusioned situation here in the US but don't think for a second the majority of red state voters even know whats going on in the world other than terrorism. As FOX and breitbart and their favorite channels only portray the negative.

Which brings me to my last point that's also the difference. See its easy for Trump to bash the press because he knows the majority of the press don't have allegiances and even if they do the press on the left can and do have impartial thoughts, guests and pieces in general but that's not the same as those on the right. Its actually what bothers me about the likes of MSNBC etc... I feel they should be a little more ruthless.

But again forgetting the press and tradition why the right are hell bent on being negative to those who think different and want progression and change IE alternative fuels, power and accepting climate change, changing broken education and welfare systems (which yes hurt government budgets). Is that wrong?

Long story short, Australia doesn't have 1/50th the problems Europe has. We dont have terrorism, we don't have mass immigration, if people come here illegally they get thrown in prison, then sent back. The Australian Government doesn't laugh in the face of the tax payer and spend their peoples money on immigrant pensions. We had one terror scare last year with a muslim trying to run people over... he was chased by 2 lads with baseball bats and when the cops got a hold of him they emptied 30 bullets into him. Zero tolerance for that bs... Muslims are scared to put a foot out of line here because they know that Aussies don't stand for it. Its the complete opposite in europe and its unreal. Muslims are tip-toed around, no one wants to offend them and their book... which is 100% fictional, just like harry potter, star wars and captain underpants.

I'll choose America and Australia over Europe anyday... down to the simple fact that I know my family will be safe there and common sense is kinda common. Not to mention the fact that my tax dollar will be put back into planning and infrastructure that benifits Australians, not Illegals.
