Long story short, Australia doesn't have 1/50th the problems Europe has. We dont have terrorism, we don't have mass immigration, if people come here illegally they get thrown in prison, then sent back. The Australian Government doesn't laugh in the face of the tax payer and spend their peoples money on immigrant pensions. We had one terror scare last year with a muslim trying to run people over... he was chased by 2 lads with baseball bats and when the cops got a hold of him they emptied 30 bullets into him. Zero tolerance for that bs... Muslims are scared to put a foot out of line here because they know that Aussies don't stand for it. Its the complete opposite in europe and its unreal. Muslims are tip-toed around, no one wants to offend them and their book... which is 100% fictional, just like harry potter, star wars and captain underpants.

I'll choose America and Australia over Europe anyday... down to the simple fact that I know my family will be safe there and common sense is kinda common. Not to mention the fact that my tax dollar will be put back into planning and infrastructure that benifits Australians, not Illegals.

Lefties don't disagree with immigration policy. Lefties want a fair system which the US primarily already has. Any of my fellow blues who emigrated here will tell you the process and how tricky and hard it is.

Lefties just see that banning countries can make hatred more prevalent.

Trumps immigration policy is based out of fear and to distract his own base from lack of policies and actual progression.

Don't confuse people on the right with all being pro travel bans. The difference is (and i know a lot of conservatives) they wont be vocal as they stick to the party line as well their party won and they can manage to stick trump if they control everything so....

Also as for Australia i lived there for many years love it but that country is based on immigration. Check out the numbers each year getting visas from a multitude of countries. I do agree they have a definite hard nosed strict approach to illegal immigration but don't think they are for one second anti immigrant.

In my opinion, alot of Americans look at the state of Europe right now and will continue to vote against anything that replicates the likes of Germany, France, Sweden - even England! Donald Trump cares about his people, and his people only! He cares about the future of America. He will succeed in making America great again, and westernised voters all around the world will follow suit at their next election.

Love all you lads for being Blue - but in terms of your political stance, your not going to have much luck for the next 20 years - the world knows now, that the right is right ;)

Actually, your fact is in error. The POTUS was not voted into office by the people of the United States of America - and never is. He was made POTUS by our arcane Electoral College system, which allows for a situation where a person who loses the popular vote (in his case by 3 million of them) can win office. It is an absurd relic that needs to be abolished. An alarmingly low percentage of people in the United States understand its full implication - the concept of one person, one equal vote does not apply in the election of POTUS.

The travel ban has been stopped on multiple occasions by multiple courts in the United States. Quite rightly so. It is not an American value to deny someone legal entry into this country for reason of religious affiliation. It goes against one of our founding principles.

Lastly, The Orange Tweeter cares not one whit about "the people" of the United States. His entire life has been about personal aggrandizement. Nothing has, or will, change this.

Remember Hilary won the popular vote. It was the electoral college that took it for Trump. Its been proven that if the election system was 1 vote per person and every vote counted the democratic party would most likely win every time. Major urban areas and cities are generally blue and with the size of California and New York and them being primarily blue it would carry them. Hence why we will never see a change to the electoral college as it would hurt the red states.

Also this whole left and right think gets really skewed nowadays because of American politics. Not all progressive liberal people see themselves as lefties. If changing with the times and being tolerant and also recognizing issues and using logic and education to fix them is bad then OK then.

Also no one is suggesting that the right are dumb. It just seems that a lot of people on the right or conservatives stick to more traditional values a lot of which can be intolerant to the changing world. They are also sometimes stuck in their ways.

Are you saying you hate integration of races and the acceptance of anyone no matter their skin colour, sexual orientation, religion etc... is a bad thing? Because that's why lefties as you call them scratch their heads when it comes to the right. They seem a bit less tolerant of anything different.

Also particularly in the US the right seem to be about profit and making people rich. That annoys people who think that yes that's a good thing but whats the point of 1% being rich if there are millions on the breadline and struggling.

Whats more weird is that most of the right voters seem to be from areas afflicted with poverty.

You hit the nail on the head that a lot of them saw a disillusioned situation here in the US but don't think for a second the majority of red state voters even know whats going on in the world other than terrorism. As FOX and breitbart and their favorite channels only portray the negative.

Which brings me to my last point that's also the difference. See its easy for Trump to bash the press because he knows the majority of the press don't have allegiances and even if they do the press on the left can and do have impartial thoughts, guests and pieces in general but that's not the same as those on the right. Its actually what bothers me about the likes of MSNBC etc... I feel they should be a little more ruthless.

But again forgetting the press and tradition why the right are hell bent on being negative to those who think different and want progression and change IE alternative fuels, power and accepting climate change, changing broken education and welfare systems (which yes hurt government budgets). Is that wrong?

When you say: 'red state voters even know whats going on in the world other than terrorism' thats a massive generalisation, and to suggest that states of people dont know anything about the world, but terrorism, is discrimination, the number one thing the left hates? The way I see it, in Australia for example, Terrorism is really the only thing the people are worried about. What else does the average aussie really want? nothing?

We live in a country that has endless opportunity, there are jobs for everyone, qualified or not, you will get full time work here. Our economy is thriving, tourism is thriving, minign is thriving, we have more natural resourses We have freedom, we arnt scared of walking out our front door and we have our elders to thank for that. We don't want to change, but liberals just have to challenge that status quo in the name of political correctness and progression. Which is bs. Why change the greatest country in the world? its already the greatest! And its the greatest because we have zero tolerance for religious bs, we have zero tolerance for immigrants that come here illegally and we have zero tolerance for anyone or anything that attempts to change our way of life - FACT. Australian culture is alive and kicking, are you able to say the same about english culture? Go watch Tommy Robinsons interview on the morning show if you need more evidence to support the fact that the left wing governments around the world are destroying cultures and not looking out for the people. The Left is destroying traditions, history and culture. The whole middle East has been at civil war for the last 20 odd years over Islam. Muslims have been killing muslims for years because they are different types of muslims - go figure. Australia doesnt have muslims killing muslims? no civil war here? so give me one reason why we would want to accept a religion that brings civil war with it? a religion that believes women should be hidden from the world by their owners? a religion whos top dog is a pedofile and writes books about raping young boys and girls? We as Aussies dont want that here, so we as aussies will not get that here, because our government does its job - it protects the people

Thats true, but what is worse, 2 groups of ppl hating eachother from the otherside of the world? or immigrants causing civil wars in their adopted country? I think comparing Europe to Australia is a great example. Most EU countries have open boarders, and Europe is victim to terror attacks every day. Australia has strict boarder security - Australia has never had a terrorist attack. EVER.

If anything, I really like any leftie that isnt Australian. If the rest of the world votes for left wing political correctness and open boarders that will destroy any tradition or culture that country has, then that means all the immigrants will go to other countries, and i can just get on with life in greatest, safest country this world has ever seen.
