Definitely a pardon for obstruction, but wonder if Pence would let it play out if other stuff is found...especially if it was pre-political Trump relating to his business.

Trump isn't going quietly and would not fade into the background if impeached. Wonder if Pence might prefer him behind bars??
Perhaps as Trump's supporters would see Pence as a traitor and an agent of the deep state even with a full pardon so he wouldn't have much to lose on support.

Trump is certainly laying the groundwork that any charge on any topic is a complete fabrication.

BREAKING: a Republican tells the truth:

It's a scandal in itself how little the Dems have to say about this. Apparently they are setting this aside so as not to interference with attempts to impose new bipartisan sanctions on Russia. And you thought the left wasn't willing to compromise! haha. The Dems are nothing if not compromised.

I also suspect they actually want the worst of the bill to pass, in order to campaign against it, which would be typically cynical and shameful, but perhaps smart politics since they can't really do anything to stop it.

But they will no doubt predictably fail to provide voters with any sort of vision about how they can make their lives better, so the midterms will again hinge on whether or not Real America hates not having medical coverage more than it hates people with names like 'Tierney Sneed.'

You start with "a republican tells the truth"... What truth? He has said the same thing all of them have said as in nothing. Or they are still working on it. Which is exactly the point they won't clarify where they are at at all really other than sounding like Trump soundbites saying they are making it great etc...

Then you go into some mad idea that its a scandal the democrats have said nothing about what he said? Or the scandal that they know that its been worked on?

Also they quote Lindsay Graham as saying even he doesn't know and would like to.

That article you link seems to backup the idea that they have shared little and refuse to so you have seemed to use an article to bash dems.

Finally no matter what bill they put forward it will still be similar to the one they originally flouted the page memo thing. TO make all 3 or 4 groups on the right agree to it there will be concessions that will hurt the american people simple as that.

You honestly think they will keep the good parts of obama care and keep their word on not touching medicare and medicaid? Considering the ultra righties and moderates cons have issues with all of it not just some of it and want it entirely repealed.

I presume these meetings would fall under Sessions "I don't recall any such meeting but if there was am sure it was not improper" umbrella. Given he seems extremely forgetful about meetings and their contents for someone who is both the most senior law enforcement official and the chief lawyer, a role where grasp of details and facts is key, he might want to start basic note taking.

https://amp.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jun/15/lobbyist-russian-interests-jeff-sessions-testimony
An American lobbyist for Russian interests who helped craft an important foreign policy speech for Donald Trump has confirmed that he attended two dinners hosted by Jeff Sessions during the 2016 campaign, apparently contradicting the attorney general’s sworn testimony given this week.

Sessions testified under oath on Tuesday that he did not believe he had any contacts with lobbyists working for Russian interests over the course of Trump’s campaign. But Richard Burt, a former ambassador to Germany during the Reagan administration, who has represented Russian interests in Washington, told the Guardian that he could confirm previous media reports that stated he had contacts with Sessions at the time.

Mate, respectfully, try reading what you've written out loud before posting. I say that not to be a snob (I make errors all time), but because it's genuinely difficult to follow you here.

My point is a) that the Republicans hold the principle of public accountability in utter contempt, and even openly admit it, and b) that the Democrats should be condemning the lack of transparency but aren't because c) they probably want this horrible bill to pass in order to exploit during the next election which d) they will probably botch by running another celebrity Pepsi-ad style campaign where millennials of all hues #jointheconversation but have absolutely nothing to say.

Yes apologies, i read that wrong. You do make a fair and good point. I think it's because i didn't have my coffee yet haha!!

He just can't let the Hilary thing go can he. Nor can his puppets.

The funniest part of his tweets is the comments below his from his supporters. They are all brown nosing calling him sir and agreeing with everything he says even when its no coherent.

That Mark Dice couldn't be further up his arse. Just plastering the replies with incoherent memes.

How many times has Clinton been investigated? And no charges have been placed on her. It's almost as if they (right wingers, Trump cultists, Trump himself) don't actually care about due process - just desperate for the political bogey(wo)man, Hillary, to be put down (and to deflect their own misdemeanours). Now that's a witch hunt.

It'll be 4 years down the line (if he isn't removed from office before then, of course) and I'll still be hearing about those bloody emails.
