This is a real possibility.
Prior to becoming President, he'd basically never worked a day in his life. He has never exercised, because he's said to believe the human body is like a battery, with a set energy limit, which he doesn't want to use up all at once. His diet consists of Happy Meals, red meat, candy, and heavy creams. And he's 71 years old. It's probably pretty unlikely that he will survive another eight years, or even another four.
And in today's idiotic information environment, even that could cause real political trouble, because at least a third of the country will assume he's been poisoned by Sidney Blumenthal or some other preposterous hack, and start stockpiling ammunition while concocting assassination fantasies to make even the lurid JFK conspiracies read like the Winnie the Pooh in comparison.
