It sure is.

Its always funny getting into a heated discussion about politics with some in this country, especially being European, where you generally don't rely on one source you tend to look at all avenues. So they tell me what fox news said and then i tell them the many counteracting sources and now since trump was elected everyone but fox is fake news haha!!

In many respects politics in America is like rooting for your favorite sports team. It's more about "we won" than what policy is actually taking place. Challenge any Trump supporter about this train wreck we are seeing since he has taken office, and nearly all of them come back with a "we won, get over it" instead of answering the question about the train wreck right before their eyes.

It's just surreal. It wasn't already this way. But it's been building to this crescendo since the mid-90s, and the advent of Rush Llimbaugh, Fox News and then the internet in general put us on the path to destruction.

There is actually more here than I expected tbh.

The former FBI on oath calling Trump a liar on multiple occasions, Comey admitting that he leaked documents to the press with the intention it would lead to a special counsel and his refusal to discuss issues about Flynn but more importantly Sessions in open session.
