I see you're completely ignoring the fact that when Obama was nowhere to be seen, Trump was accusing him of federal offenses. The level of abuse and vitriol that Trump has thrown Obama's way is what's unprecedented, sorry, unpresidented, here.
 
I see that Trump has told his NATO allies that 23/28 are not paying their way. Nice one, it's about time Germany actually paid for something, they've had a free ride since WW2......

It would be like if Theresa May turned up at the NATO summit only to find that Tony Blair had snaffled away Mrs Merkel, it's just not done.....

No I wouldn't, not least because I'd be completely unqualified for the post! But that, and media intrusion which has been going on for years on both sides of the aisle, hasn't stopped many people from applying for posts like these - indeed it didn't stop the 8 from originally agreeing to being interviewed. Just wondering what changed from when they thought it a good idea less than 3 weeks ago?
