Where is Kelly Ann Conway?

She seems to have scarpered

There was a problem in the circuit-board just beneath her shoulder blade (the binary logic operators were damaged) and a few other small issues, such as the biohybrid tissue in her face was asymmetrical. So they sent her back to Boston Robotics to fix these hardware and cosmetic issues.

Enjoy the day!

meanwhile:

Since the summer before the election, Trump’s critics have been suggesting or sometimes stating outright that Russia is involved with a criminal conspiracy that reaches to the highest levels of Trump’s inner circle. But now that an unimpeachable bulldog prosecutor has been named to probe these very allegations, the critics seem to be trying to move the goalposts, saying that the real problem isn’t criminality, but the sleaze and outlandish behavior of the Trump campaign more generally—behavior that was already obvious to voters when they went to the polls in 2016, and will be even more obvious when they go to the polls in 2018.

Trump’s outrageous and indefensible conduct around the Russia investigation—his firing of Comey to attempt to quash the inquiry, along with the subsequent allegations that he demanded Comey’s loyalty early on and leaned on him to drop the investigation of Mike Flynn—cries out for a special counsel, and Mueller, by all accounts, is a consummate choice. Any wrongdoing related to the Trump campaign, from the President himself to bottom-feeders like Carter Page, should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

But the Trump-Russia hounds now seem to be realizing the limits of the scandal they have been pursuing—yes, maybe someone like Manafort will go down for money-laundering, and yes, Trump had shady deals with Russian banks as a real estate tycoon in the 1990s. But this is simply not as big of a scandal as they would like it to be.

I think Douthat's argument is simplest and most straightforward, remove him for gross incompetence. If need be, tell him, "You're Fired!" because he'll understand that.

There is a guy called Geoffrey Lord is on TV quite a bit and he is totally wired to put a positive spin on owt The Trumpster says. Makes Kelly Ann sound like a sceptic.

He was on Anderson Cooper's show on CNN last night commenting how "everyone knows Comey is a nut job...Trump was just saying it out loud".

Anderson replied "if Trump jumped up and took a dump on the table you would think it was all right" lol

Well, I'm sure James Madison would have no problem with that. Who needs procedure and constitutional government when there's work to be done. Plus, who will tell the President he's fired?

It took Barry Goldwater to do that in 1974, and we'd already had almost two years of national nightmare before we reached that point. If you want to know where that eventually led, take a look at that famous picture of a helicopter loading up on the roof of the US embassy in Saigon about a year later. I didn't really understand the history of it until my work mate Nguyen explained it to me from his point of view some twenty years after the fact. Plus, I don't think we have anybody left in DC with the integrity and guts of a Barry Goldwater in 2017, to be honest.

Let's see where things sort out over the next 30 days. In the meanwhile, we have baseball and some hockey and basketball playoffs to keep us entertained and distracted...

I'm good with Mike Pence, are you? If he'd been on the ballot, I'd have voted for him over Trump in the Florida primary. I certainly didn't vote for Trump then. You can vault me on that. I was down with Little Marco.

I would like Pence more if he hadn't become a Trump stooge. I was in Marco's camp, but the only two that finished with any dignity in my eyes are Jeb:/ and Kasich.

I don't think anybody made it through that goat rodeo with any dignity intact with the exception of Scott Walker, who knew when to get out.

Early. Would you say Pence is more Larry or Curly Joe? We all know who's playing the part of Moe.

What this nation needs is a nice calm PB&J sandwich of an administration instead of the eight course menu of posturing and narcissism we've been exposed to from both sides of this war between all and all. The media doesn't really care as long as they can keep the ratings pumped up, but the law of diminishing returns kicked in a long time ago. Hence, we keep getting another shot of third/fourth hand leaks to make more headlines and reel in more folks to watch the gruesome process.

If we went by the rules of Madison's time, Clinton would be VP, not Penske, just throwing it out there!

So this boob goes to visit n sell arms to the country that produced ISIS. Ya couldn't make it up!

And in doing so, does the exact thing that he criticized Obama/Hilary/Liberals of doing not even a year ago!!!
