How it plays in the press depends on the specific press and how (by whom) that press is interpreted. Still LOTS of folks that think it is all media hype/fake news.

As long as there is a GOP majority in the House and Senate, there is zero chance of impeachment...barring a video of Trump getting cash from Putin for the keys to the WH... then again, maybe not.


Even if the House went Democratic in 2018, conviction in the Senate requires 2/3 majority. It could easily end up like Clinton; impeached but not convicted so still in office.

Problem is I sadly genuinely think trump wants to start world war 3. He's trying to act all tough kid on the block. North Korea will be the flash point at the start of it all.

I can see were you coming from with concern over Trump mate but a lot of it is scaremongering imo. I'm not saying he isn't a total loon but he doesn't have the free reign that some think. He's been blocked on most of wishes/demands so far and I think that will continue for the remainder of his term in office.

I can understand the impulse to point out when some of Trump's actions do echo things that Hitler did.

But in general think it not only can lead to trivialization of that era but also don't think it really helps in progressing the current discussion as both sides tend to dissolve into a historical back and forth rather than focusing on the present.
