That's about right. Say to say, footy is pretty much a sport for the middle-class intelligentsia types here in the USA. I'm not particularly troubled by the ratio on this forum, it's about what I would expect.

The ratio is a bit different on BamaHammer, AlligatorArmy, and TigerDroppings where there is no political talk going on whatsoever this week. It's all about your commits and where those five-stars are going to land. Those boys are all following Rivals.com for last minute decommit rumo(u)rs. These guys make the final January transfer week in the Prem look like a Supreme Court session.

Those forums probably go about 80% pro-Trump, when they aren't obsessed with that five-star stud LB from Demopolis (Saban HAS to have him locked up, don't he? You KNOW he'll get him in. We know how Bama works... (knowing look)). Most of the Trump haters are the folks that actually have degrees from the Universities that serve as appendages to the football teams.

It's the truth. I just call it like I see it.

I'm not entirely sure what point you are trying to make there at the end.

Trump 'haters' are a diverse bunch from all walks of life.

within the aforementioned forums, this seems to be the case... Not a rule, just an observation.

True dat on your remark re: Trump haters, just like those who love him, and also those who tolerate him and look on in wonder at the way people react to him (that's my group). The last politician I loved was Charley Bennett, and he's been gone a long time now.

I don't know if I ever really make a point. I just ramble like the rose.

I see...that's probably fair enough...especially in SEC country.

So hope that a way can be found to resolve this

Ahmed Ali spent Sunday at a hotel near Djibouti’s International Airport, anxiously checking CNN on his phone to see if the Trump administration would allow him to fly to the United States with Eman, his 12-year-old daughter. Ali, 39, is a U.S. citizen. But his daughter had been living with grandparents in Yemen while American authorities processed her visa application. After years of waiting, the U.S. embassy issued the precious piece of paper last Wednesday, and father and daughter were excitedly preparing Friday for the flight that would unite Eman with her mother and two sisters.

They got through security at the airport before an official informed them that people with a Yemeni passport, like Eman, were prohibited from traveling to the U.S. by the executive order President Donald Trump says is needed to keep the country safe from terrorism. “I got shocked because I don’t know what I have to do,” Ali said in a telephone interview on Sunday. “I can’t take her back to Yemen. And I can’t leave her here by herself — she is only 12 years old.”

The Trump order, which bars citizens from Yemen and six other countries from entering the U.S. for 90 days, has left Eman in what amounts to a stateless limbo. She cannot join her American-citizen parents and family in the U.S. She has no roots or family in Djibouti. And so on Sunday, her father, who works in a central California strip mall, was trying to decide how long he could continue to wait with her in a hotel he can scarcely afford. He said his only real choice — to send her back to the war-torn Yemeni city where she has lived under intense bombardmentfrom Saudi forces backed by the U.S. — was unacceptable.

Lego Trump - "You and I both know that those polls are rigged anyway. I don't know where they get those numbers. They just make them up and print them. These are the same guys who said I was going to lose the election, you remember? Sad!" Or something like that.

It's as certain as the fact that Big Fat Sam will destroy three packs of Juicy Fruit at his next match, then knock back a pint glass of vino blanco after, win or lose.

I think folks are FINALLY seeing through it. The 'Alternative Facts' thing from Conway I think finally woke folks up.

We will see I suppose. Glad that folks aren't taking it without a fight.

Crazy reading about some states trying to push through legislation that would penalize protests. Censoring Americans is not the way to go if the right hopes to maintain momentum.

In 9 days this guy has rallied Democrats more than anyone has since 2008.

He's also rallying ISIS supporters.

Bad things are on the horizon...and they aren't coming from the Liberal side of the world.
