I think the other worry regarding Trump and his supporters is how they move the goal posts.

Throughout the campaign and election they said they had no problem with LEGAL immigrants. It was the ILLEGAL ones they had a problem with.

Now he bans LEGAL people from 7 nations from entering the country and they are OK with that.

It's very frustrating that they can't see how un-American this EO is.

Customs agents at Dulles told lawyers they were ordered by "upper mgmt" to not provide info/access – that is direct violation of court order. This is quickly escalating into constitutional issues with the power of different branches of government.

I've no idea really, I would have thought that the US security people would advise him. But I find the whole EO thing and the Presidential pardons to be strange indeed......he is getting a fair bit of abuse and pushback over this, and rightly so, but I think he will dig in or 'double down' as I believe you put it and stick with it........

An "emergency demo" against Mr Trump's travel ban planned for 6pm on Monday outside Downing Street has been organised by left-wing journalist Owen Jones.

A total of 10,000 people on Facebook have said they will attend the demonstration which Mr Jones said is also in protest against Mrs May deciding "to ally herself with Donald Trump's bigoted misogynistic government".

The left do love their emergency demo's......

What ?......Russia (who had signed a non aggression pact with Germany) tried and failed to get England and France into a war (which started after Germany invaded Poland and The UK and France therefore declared war) much much earlier (but only got involved itself when Germany attacked it in 1941)..........I must have missed that.....
