To call it a "natural reaction" seems to fall short of an unequivocal condemnation of a fascist act. Can you see the echoes of Nazism, Pete, or are you sitting there with your eyes shut?

I very much agree with that comment.I think you misinterpret my point. The pendulum swings in both directions and tends to overreact both left and right. I have no truck with far left or far right politics. I can indeed see echoes of Nazism, but I also see this in places such as Venezuela where political opponents get locked up, yet not one peep of condemnation is uttered from the usual luvies or liberals. Either condemn all wrongdoing or none but don't just do it for either left or right......
The ironic thing is the US passports have the same day/month/year format, different to the way virtually all other dates are listed in the US, although to avoid confusion they do use an abbreviation for the month.You couldn't make it up really......

It is naked Nazism ..wake up ladIt's a natural reaction when the pendulum swings too far one way then it swings right back the other way. While this may seem odious to many of us who live in centrist countries and have been protected by natural borders, it will now strike a chord with a few Eastern European countries who are undergoing similar influxes. I would fully expect a number of EU countries to eventually do similar. It is incredibly sad, but unfortunately predictable......
