thankfully dearest davek will be the last of our issues should fuhrer trump get in.

occurred to me earlier... more of a sex pest than jfk, more lies and fraud and criminality than nixon, been on film and tv more than reagan, more obnoxious straight faced lies to the american public than clinton...

is trump the worst of every president before him rolled into one toxic muppet of a twut*?
Yes.

This is the worst of American excess all rolled into one person - and as a country, we're fascinated by it - so many say "I won't support him", but in end they can't look away - its political porn.

Strong article in the Atlantic re the expectations of the president over the last 236 years vs Trump. As the author points out, we've had some real winners - Andrew Jackson, Richard Nixon - but also had recent presidents who have unglamorously acted in the manner our country needed at the time - including Kennedy, LBJ, Ford, Carter, and, in the end, even Nixon.

Clearly Trump did not ever act in that needed mode and is promising he won't in the future.

To follow up on a previous post about the concern of a man for his FIL in North Carolina who thought accepting FEMA assistance would lead to the federal agency taking his house.

Words matter:

looks like the mirror universe version of the "Forgotten Weapons" guy on Youtube

Because you believe that dinosaurs once roamed with humans you are laughably unintelligent--mere fodder for mockery which is why the high-functioning adults here--the ones who can brush their teeth alone--don't pay attention to you. I'll indulge you on occasion for entertainment reasons, such as now.

Do you remember when you said "why don't we debate politics" and then proceeded to post a youtube video of an unoriginal disgraced right-wing plagiarist/grifter interviewing drunk college kids. This was your attempt at debate, and this was expected for someone who's IQ is about the same as a grapefruit.

In any case, there is simply no evidence of democrats being "angrier and more violent" in what you posted. Not a shred. We all know this--except you, of course--because it is reflected in the content of the article you posted but didn't read. It simply shows that elementary school children see what you--despite being an apparent adult with a master's degree from Hustler's university--simply cannot see: that Trump is "pure evil" (and a rapist, racist, lying piece of feces to boot).

In any case, fomenting an armed insurrection to take down our democracy as Trump did on January 6th, versus a 12 year old saying "maybe like a food fight or something" is not in the same ballpark of "angrier and more violent" but again, you aren't here for serious debate, and you are incapable of it even if you were. Jog on pisshead.
Oh look here, smartass decided to come and reference his answer like it's an assignment for Harvard.

Democrats are undeniably more angry about Trump, there's no doubt about it. I've heard sentiments of Democrats wishing death on Trump either online or in person but I have never seen any Republicans wanting any violence towards Biden or Harris. You can't even deny this.

The guy who shot at Trump was a Republican. The guy who killed Lincoln was an actual Confederate. Also, the parties have basically switched places since the 1800’s. Trying to equate R’s and D’s of today with their counterparts over a century ago is a fool’s errand. Don’t know much about the would-be Nixon/Reagan assassins, so maybe.
I mean fine but even with your point, my point still stands. 3 assassination attempts on Trump and how many attempts have the likes of Obama, Biden, Harris faced? ZERO.

Let's hope. This race is way too close to call. Disgustingly close. If Trump wins it will be a massive authoritarian disaster and a potentially democracy-ending event. And I'm also not looking forward to davek's attempts to say "told you so" despite pretty much all of us here (many of us for years on this forum) talking about the razor thin margins and the lack of a really stupendous, swing-vote-getting Democrat candidate.
I'm all willing to sit down for a good faith discussion but when I see things like "democracy ending" thrown around about Trump and this election, it just becomes a huge a farce due to how asinine it is and makes it incredibly difficult to sit down and have a good ended debate. When the left use such destructive rhetoric like this, all it does is simply create more division.

It sounds like you're feeling frustrated with the way the argument was presented. It’s adds weight to provide insight, research etc but he didn't follow the Harvard method and as it is a forum/message board nor should he. Emoticons maybe such as this 🥔 are great though. 👍
