Speculation and opinion? That's what 90% of election coverage is; polls, opinion, speculation and more polls. Much of what's in the clip is based on internal polling and vbm stats. Campaigns don't usually release polls but Halperin is basing his report on what insiders are telling him. It doesn't mean these insiders are correct, just the vibe Halperin is getting from them. That vibe is Repub's are sounding more confident than Dems.

Polling is expensive. Good polling is very expensive. Campaigns have bucket loads of money to throw at polling, newspapers not so much. That's why everything else being equal internal polling is more accurate than public polling. This is especially true with state polls.

Just another disgusting comment to add to the pile. It's almost as if the closer we get to trump being bounced out forever the more tense and nervy the bot owners get. messiahs* like trump thankfully are not overly common (and let's hope that remains the case) so the sooner the nazi's and facists and racists and rape enablers get put back in their box, the 'kin better!
