Imagine the news media uproar if Biden or Harris could not remember touring the devastation of a Cat 5 hurricane in their home state just 6 years ago nearly to the day. Not to mention, Hurricane Maria hit Dominica as a Cat 5 and then Puerto Rico as a Cat 4 during the first year of his presidency.
He does not remember because he does not care.
Biden looked really old at that debate and that subsequent press conference where he confused names and the like but the double standards in the comparison of the reporting of Trumps mumbling , bumbling and memory is really stark . It’s only rivalled by the demand Harris gets into detail on policy while he rambles incoherently .

To me, the bigger issue is his narcissism. If a subject does not directly affect him, or cannot be made to be about him, then the subject is irrelevant. It has no meaning and holds no interest for him.
He has the temperament of a bratty toddler.
Not to go all conspiracy theory, but I do wonder if this isn't part of the plan or became the plan as they watched him deteriorate.
