They tried to have him killed. I'm legit annoyed at Trump for not making the most of the assassination attempt politically. Seems like a no brainer to bring in some high profile private security and start the mother of all twitter storms against the secret service upper echelons. This is a no lose issue for Trump. The 2016 Trump would not have let all this free publicity slide. I just hope he's biding his time until closer to the election.

Agreed, it's not about evidence. Evidence and stats rarely changes anyone's opinion when it comes to politics. Our biases are too ingrained.
