Yep, he's just a pathetic inconsequential troll who made a racist post and is an apologist for a rapist. The subteenage comparisons to MLK or Emmett Till or the dumb Trump memes are clearly indicative of wummery.
He's not even that clever in hiding it mate...

So easy.

There's only one thing he wants...

One of the first polls conducted since a New York Jury found Donald Trump guilty of falsifying business records find that a significant minority of Republicans and Independents want him to drop out and a majority of registered voters approve of the jury's decision.
Why it matters: The Morning Consult poll conducted on Friday offers some of the first clues about how voters are reacting to the unprecedented situation.

By the numbers: 54% of registered voters "strongly" or "somewhat" approve of the guilty verdict compared to 34% who "strongly or "somewhat" disapprove.

  • 49% of Independents and 15% of Republicans said Trump should end his campaign because of the conviction.
  • The polls found the race effectively tied nationally in a 1-on-1 with Biden at 45% and Trump at 44%.

We need him to run and get slaughtered. If he is talked into dropping out, we'll all suffer the rest of his life moaning similar to the liz truss line about the deep state and lefty libs undermining him and the saviour of the western world. At least when he loses again, he'll not be president, the other cases will be a lot closer, he'll still be a felon facing massive fines, and he'll be a serial loser.
If the Cletus Spuckler's of this world don't like biden, tough spit! They were happy to look the other way as old man reagan was dreaming up star wars and the like. Age applies to all, just like the law, there's 3 years between sleepy joe and donny capone trump.

It is way too close for my comfort, I would much prefer him to drop out.

I don’t think that will happen, baring a major medical issue - he knows winning is his only chance of getting the classified documents case and others dismissed and he faces serious jail time if convicted in the first one.

Agree with this. Whether he drops out or loses he and his base will call it a witch hunt, rigged, fraud etc. It’s not like if he runs and loses he and his base will accept it and go quietly into the night. So the best way to guarantee he doesn’t get elected again is if he doesn’t run.

Also agree there is no way he drops out. He won’t do it by choice and the Republican Party have bent over for him so much there is no way they are getting rid of him.

A thoughtful piece on democracy by Daniel Hannan….

Surprised to find myself agreeing with most of that. Trump is a massive felon, but if there was any actual justice in America he would have been locked up long before he was ever allowed to run for president. Trump will bone the US faster if he wins the election, but I think the US is boned regardless of the outcome
