Probably not - for states that have enacted a stricter time frame (or total ban), those would most likely stay in place, but the "upper limit" on abortion procedures would be the 15 wks.

No. The supremacy clause means anything less restrictive at the state level is superceded by the federal law. (This is why marijuana businesses in the states where it is legal have trouble accessing the banking system.) The Tenth Amendment means that a state may pass anything more restrictive, provided that enumerated powers or an amendment do not apply.

I don't see how a federal ban withstands a challenge under  Dobbs, though. The whole point of that decision is that abortion is not a right, and therefore the federal government (including Congress) has no business mucking about with it. Safety regulations would be supportable under the interstate commerce clause, but that's about it.

It's just another exhibit proving that the modern Republican Party and its financial backers have no more respect for the rule of law than Putin. They'll use it as a shield when it suits, and ignore it when it doesn't.

it's apocryphal, but the story goes that King George III once addressed a tree as the King of Prussia.

If we surveyed adult American citizens, I'd say at least half would say King George III was saner than Trump. I would imagine King George III was less prone to blathering irrelevant statistics at inanimate objects. (Whether said object is the table or Farage.)
