They're largely a pretty awful bunch, but Biden's record in office isn't that bad.

I just can't fathom how anyone would vote for Orange Shitler again.
To Own the Libs

That's literally the only reason. There is no other reason, despite what they may say, or policy nonsense they bring up.

It's simply to Own the Libs

That's it

is he actually making any decisions? i know all presidents are just front men for whoever bought them but he clearly is too mentally gone to be in the job.

So if all presidents are just front men for who bought them, I guess the question is would you rather have the president who was bought by what the Democrats want, or the president that was bought by god knows what on the other side?

And if Biden isn't actually making decisions, would you rather have his regime making decisions, or Trump's side making decisions.

This isn't rocket science to come up with the right answer there

the only decision i want trump making is if he is gonna work in the kitchens or workshop when he's in prison.

Nope. Whoever the Democrat is will win the popular vote in landslide fashion, as they have all through the current century.

It's because of the electoral college.

Because of that, only a few states matter in national elections.

So what ends up happening is like 500,000 people across 6 or 7 states decide presidents. It's asinine

The electoral college made sense, in theory, when it was implemented over 200 years ago. However, you see how it can be manipulated as it is today.

So when you have one party that has found a way to chip away at the fringes, with a willing and able media outlet aiding and abetting that party to "otherize" the opposition party, you have what you see today - a whole number of states that live in an alternate reality, and the 50/50 states in play

Sad times indeed
This is what’s such a bummer. Next year will be the sixth presidential election I’ve voted in. Since I live in a state that is 60% or more red voters, and getting redder by the day, I have yet to ever cast a meaningful vote in a national election. It’s just a token exercise to show up and do my “civic duty” and really nothing more. Even more disheartening is that barring moving to one of your aforementioned swing states, a MASSIVE demographic shift here, or the abolition of the Electoral College, I’ll never cast a meaningful presidential vote in my life.

*sept Bush in '04 running on post 9/11 unity.
Still tho, thats 1 out of 6 and had Gore won in '00 like he should have, they'd definitely be 0 for 6.
Which is insane.
The Electoral College, the Senate, the Supreme courts, the way judges are appointed to draw congressional maps, the overturning of citizens united, the way the system is designed to allow only two parties and on and on.
Local level politics is quite democratic but forget it at national level.

Over there, your primary vote does matter on Super Tuesday. The governor's mansion was highly competitive until recently. Memphis served as a counterweight to East Tennessee, with the balance of power in Nashville, which could go either way. Every vote counted, as a result.
