Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

Certainly not. If he’s guilty then he’s guilty. But going back to the drugs issue, the Whitehouse has cameras covering every square inch so this couldn’t find any evidence is a pretty blatant attempt to just ignore it. Unless of course people can just wander around the Whitehouse and take drugs…….

Pete, I'm not well versed in either cocaine or security systems. How many days/weeks/months of surveillance footage does the White House keep on hand for there... tell me again how many cameras do they operate? Is there a Youtube channel with the WH camera feed? And what are we looking for here, is someone walking around with a box labeled "cocaine" or is someone wearing a high-vis vest that reads "I use illicit drugs?" Just figured I could do the research myself if only someone helped me know what to look for.

I don't even understand the point of the cocaine comment from him anyway. I mean what's he even talking about, research if it was Biden's? I'd think that would be better for him anyway, as he'd be less Sleepy Joe.

If the insinuation is that it's not Biden's, then really, really who cares. Lock him or her up, for whatever the appropriate legal solution is for someone with a personal quantity of cocaine. Come on.

The implication that going to the ends of the earth to figure out who left an 8 ball of coke in the white house is somehow the same level of seriousness as attempting a literal coup d'etat is utterly insane

yea, because if Gore had called up Jeb Bush or any of his administration and asked them do magic up 11,000 votes, we'd never have heard a thing about it, right?
Except Trump did not say to 'magic up' votes for him. He said 'find me votes'. It was a request to make sure signature verification on postal ballots were strictly enforced and for dubious(mostly Dem) postal ballots cast to be thrown out. It was a self serving request but hardly illegal. Postal ballots are thrown out at every election, usually a sizeable percentage of them. However, virtually all were accepted in the 20 election.

In 2000 Gore and his team did their best to recount the votes in heavy Dem Florida areas. The Supreme Court ruled this was unconstitutional but neither Gore or his legal team were criminally prosecuted for it and rightly so.

right, and no one would have questioned trump demanding recounts in close states or even the 50 odd barmy legal challenges he made.
But when he called the Georgia Secretary of state and asked him to find 11,000 votes, he broke the law. Thats why he was arrested.
Had Gore rang a secretary of state in a close run state and asked them to find enough votes for him to win, he likely would have been arrested too.
Simple stuff DB.
Dershowitz doesnt offer any evidence of Gore breaking the law.

‘The only difference now’ line made me laugh though.

The story that one woman told me is that Hunter Biden was doing cocaine in the WH but daddy Biden is covering it up. This feels an awful lot like projection, and maybe it was even Don Jr who helped with this story, which would explain a lot. But at any rate it's only a story for the Fox News crowd as far as I can tell.

you seem to know a lot of facts that were rejected by the judicial systems in several US States as false, meritless, or not entirely true

All depends on how you interpret 'find the votes'. I think it's a reasonable request to maintain the signature verification standards of umpteen election cycles in every state. Here's the NYT in 2013 highlighting the problems with postal ballots:

https://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/07/...il-faulty-ballots-could-impact-elections.html

This was of course before questioning election integrity became a major no-no.

That's kinda irrelevant though. The only thing, I think, I can be pulled up on is calling many Dem postal votes as dubious. That's why I called the votes dubious NOT illegal. However, plenty of US elections have been won and lost on dubious or illegal votes. Virtually all of these dubious results were legal at the time. All those Jim Crow era Dem election victories, all of them dodgy as hell, all legal until they suddenly weren't.

but he didnt ask him to find all the missing votes, he asked him to find exactly enough to hand him the state.

And this after there had already been 3 recounts of Georgia votes and multiple legal challenges that had all failed.

Brad Raffensperger: Well, I’ve listened to what the president has just said. President Trump, we’ve had several lawsuits and we’ve had to respond in court to the lawsuits and the contentions of. We don’t agree that you have one. We don’t — I didn’t agree about the 200,000 number that you mentioned. I’ll go through that point by point. What we have done is we gave our state Senate about one and a half hours of our time going through the election issue by issue. And then on the state House Government Affairs Committee, we gave them about two and a half hours of our time going back point by point on all the issues of contention. And then just a few days ago, we met with our U.S. congressmen, Republican congressmen, and we gave them about two hours of our time talking about this past election. Going back primarily what you’re — what you’ve talked about, you’re focused on primarily, I believe is the absentee ballot process. I don’t believe that you’re really questioning the Dominion machines because we did a hand retally, a 100% retally of all the ballots and compared that to what the machine said. It came up with virtually the same results. Then we did the recount. We’ve got virtually the same results. So I guess we could probably take that off the table. I don’t think there’s an issue about that.

All I want to do is this: I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more that we have because we won the state.
..

President Donald Trump: Well, you better check on the ballots because they are shredding ballots, Ryan. I’m just telling you, Ryan, they’re shredding ballots. And, uh, you should look at that very carefully because that’s still illegal. You know, you may not even believe it because it’s so bad, but, but they’re shredding ballots because they think we’re going to eventually get there because we’ll eventually get into Fulton. You know, it’s in my opinion, is my opinion, it’s never too late. So it’s a little double double subject, though. So that’s the story fellows. Look, we need only 11,000 votes. We have far more than that as it stands now. We’ll have more and more. And do you have provisional ballots at all, Brad? Provisional ballots?

Brad Raffensperger: Provisional ballots are allowed by state law.

So what? So what are we going to do here, folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break. You know, we have that in spades already, or we can keep it going.
