You are so extreme and full of hate. I hope you don't take that attitude to your friends and family when they disagree with you. There's a democratic process for selecting a representative. You don't shoot rivals or prosecute them.

The reason we developed language, reason and logic was to elevate ourselves from the life and times of being cave men. It's always disappointing to find someone still struggling to put down their wooden club and unwilling to give up scraping a living from the muck. Then again you are the same person who only last week attempted to compare another poster to Hitler. Today you're wanting to assassinate the leader of a rival political party.

Go join ISIS, you seem perfect for their recruitment.
Are you the guy who said you wanted your kids to be like that guy who killed 2 people?

This is more or less why Trump is a bad client. He is constitutionally (wince at bad pun) incapable of following this advice. There's a reason, which is that his own style has worked for him over the years. He sees only the positives of the approach, and doesn't see how his style put him steps away from bankruptcy court in the 1990s. He chalks that one up to bad luck, and his recovery up to his own skill.

Here, he doesn't see the difference between the Feds and all the lawyers he has either paid off as a cost of doing business, or beaten in court. He sees lawyers as a sub-human species of mendicants to be paid when they are useful, and derided when not. He can't grasp that, this time, he's playing against the NBA All-Stars with the best pickup team he can assemble. He figures if you throw enough money at the problem, you get acquitted the way OJ did. That, of course, was because OJ had the NBA All-Stars on his side, playing against the junior varsity in a local prosecutor's office.

This result is a hazard of an inability to learn. The problem is that we all may suffer the consequences. His fallback strategy is to delegitimize the court system, and incite violence. I'm not even sure it's a strategy, in his case. It's just what happens when someone talks the way Trump does, and fools follow.
Jack Smith must have loved this interview, Trump lawyers not so much!

Interviewer did a good job with the spoiled child who clearly only ever hears what he wants to.
I have come to the conclusion it must be at least partly pathological when it's this bad. Sure, you're talking about an upbringing where the parents didn't do what they should have to course correct. You're also talking about someone reality has been beating with a stick for decades, and they still just don't get it.

I had a conversation with a professor ages ago, where we were discussing the difficulties in getting through to some people. I said, "I start from the assumption that the problem is on my side of the ledger." He shot back, "That's just not true." I thought he was just being callous, but over the years I have come to accept that in a small number of cases, it's a lost cause. If our lifespans were infinite, there might be a shot, but they aren't.

What's concerning is that the number of cases seems to be on the rise.
