People can commit crimes AND the prosecution be a witch-hunt. The quote 'show me the man and I'll show you the crime' isn't merely a pithy saying. It's meant as a warning.

We also have an instance where the law is being applied selectively. Hillary Clinton held classified info on her personal server, took bleachbit to it and destroyed devices with a hammer. No doubt I'll be accused of 'whataboutism' when in fact I'm accusing the Dem administration of weaponising the criminal justice system. Of selectively prosecuting their political enemies.

I understand where your sense of righteous indignation is coming from but there is no parallel between the Biden document incident and the Trump incident, Biden's own lawyers discovered those documents and immediately made authorities aware and co-operated with the investigation which is ongoing.
Mike Pence the same and was recently cleared.
With Trump the missing documents were so notable the authorities noticed they were missing and requested their return, which Trump ignored even after the subpoena and raid and was recorded discussing the illegality of the situation and also sharing the documents with people without clearance.

14,000 people were arrested during the June 2020 riots and people were charged, obviously its going to be harder to get the standard of evidence required for charges that will lead to convictions in those circumstances, than it is for people invading a secure government building in broad daylight.
Kyle Rittenhouse shot two people in the street during a riot with a gun he had no right to own, it's in the public interest that goes goes to trial.

It's not actually whataboutism because all you're demonstrating is that no one is above the law, she was investigated by the FBI and it contributed to her missing out on the presidency. While being irresponsible she never committed a crime she could be charged with.

The people ultimately responsible for these investigations are literally people appointed by Trump himself, how are you reconciling that fact?

Yes, yes she did. She held classified intel on a private server, destroying much of the evidence. However, Comey in his letter to the DoJ says he recommends the DoJ not to prosecute Clinton. What Comey didn't say in his letter was ' no crime was committed'. Comey used his discretion on the issue for non-prosecution.
