Well no, I haven’t paid hush money to cover an affair so I can get elected and then set up fraudulent business records to hide the payments. So I don‘t find the “if they can come for him they can come for you” argument particularly effective.

And the US constitution makes a big deal out of the “rule of law” and that no-one should be above it so seems pretty American too - at least in how it was meant to work.

Trump has always done Russia's work since the US banks stopped lending him money and Russian banks happily stepped in to to keep him afloat.
