I have a sneaking suspicion that Roberts will have a long talk with Thomas about the legitimacy of the Court if Thomas tries to unilaterally rule with respect to documents that have even a remote possibility of containing damaging information about his wife. Roberts has the option of voting however he thinks Thomas will vote during the upcoming term, then refusing to assign him meaningful opinions. Tactical voting like that was why justices hated Burger so much, and there have been murmurs that some of the present justices feel Roberts has already been doing that to a lesser extent.

nope, last spotted reeking havoc in the Republican party.
The longer this goes on the more I reckon the Dems have him on a long leash.
Be interesting to see if they yank it back in after the midterms or let him run next year.
It's a risky game to play given that his nonsense has polluted a generation of voters.
