Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

One wonders whether this was behind a padlock/locked door, or not. It's not great either way, but if the plans in the nuclear football were just laying around in a banker's box in a basement room to which anyone could have had access, I would want to know that.

So what if they were behind a locked door? Given his record of publically revealing national security information and his mounting legal strife, whos to say that he's not going to hawk them around hostile states for cash?

IIRC there was a report that the Archives / FBI asked him to put a padlock on the room containing the documents after their June visit, which implies that at least some of them were not secured as well as they could have been.

Obviously we may never know who exactly it was from his inner circle that (it appears) turned on him, but you could probably count on one hand the people who it could realistically be. My money would be on Mark Meadows being the one, but would be absolutely hilarious if it were Ivanka.

Correct, although what I've read suggests the FBI raided the residence for at least some of the recovered documents.

Also, I was totally spitballing about the nuclear plans. There is no world in which I actually thought Trump had them in his bedroom.

Whilst it's good nobody died. The disparity in scale between the approach to policing the trumpets and everyone else in America is ridiculous. Reminiscent of the behaviour of police bodies in a number of other failed states and dictatorships.

Lot of info doing the rounds that, according to his profile on Trump's 'Truth' social media platform, he was a Trump supporter, attended the Jan 6 insurrection attempt and decided to outright attack the FBI himself after the Mar-a-Lago raid.
A Truth Social account bearing Shiffer's name referenced his attempt to storm an FBI office, and also encouraged others online to prepare for a revolutionary-type war, CNN has learned.

"Well, I thought I had a way through bullet proof glass, and I didn't," the user posted on Donald Trump's social media site at 9:29 a.m. Authorities say the attack took place at 9:15. "If you don't hear from me, it is true I tried attacking the F.B.I., and it'll mean either I was taken off the internet, the F.B.I. got me, or they sent the regular cops while."
It's unclear whether the user was attempting to write more, as the post stops after the word "while." Authorities said the suspect fled in a car after attempting to get in the FBI office.
Could easily copy this into the 'Another Shooting In America' thread as well.

Seems like a stable minded individual...
