From what I've seen of it, there is multitude of different reasons for it. Generally speaking though , it is to own the democrats and less about anything he has actually done in comparison to other impeachments in recent history.

It's good that you question the notion of impeaching Biden for purely partisan purposes but the real problem with your construction is making it a both-sides argument. The Clinton impeachment was purely performative. He lied to a grand jury about a consensual, if inappropriate sexual relationship. Nobody in the real world gave a damn about the impeachment efforts or the reasons behind them and Clinton's approval ratings grew stronger throughout the process in some measure due to the blatantly partisan nonsense.

Not a thing Clinton or Biden has done in office compares with insisting on a political quid pro quo to release Congressionally-approved funding to a foreign nation or incitement of insurrection against the Congress and your own VP to overturn an election.

TBF I don't think that was performative - it was certainly used as a performance by the GOP, but doing what he absolutely did should have been enough to remove him from office.

One rather suspects that politics in the US and elsewhere would be healthier if he had been removed, and a precedent set.

Performative from the standpoint a great load of the GOP leadership was actively engaged in similar behaviors and the country did not give a toss about the charges brought against him.

what reasons. genuine question, what possible grounds for impeachment are being mentioned?

inflation - all countries are facing this
baby milk - if you allow monopolies to take over production of vital foodstuffs then this is a problem
his son - well at least you are recycling
mentally declining - not an impeachable matter, sadly

The grounds for impeachment are defined as “treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors”. None of the things he listed fall under that umbrella.
