I'm made up that they're calling witnesses. Not because I think it will change the outcome, but because it has been the best thing on TV and I don't want it to end.
I’m fine with Pelosi being called as I would like to know what happened with the security preparation for the rally.
But the sheer hypocrisy in Cruz dismissing Trump’s responsibility to the same questions is horrendous
This whole loyalty to a specific man is so insane and against the supposed ideals of the country.
But then they venerate Reagan too so I guess it shouldn't be surprising.
The constitution put a lot of faith in the public‘s ability/willingness to elect decent people as representatives and then those representatives being faithful to their oath.
I get that the Dems want to move onto confirmations of Biden‘s cabinet and COVID relief and that Trump was never going to be convicted but punting on witnesses seems like a mistake.
