Iirc some of the most serious charges need to go through a grand jury so tend to take a while, especially given COVID, but they can be held on lesser charges whilst that is being processed.

Guess we’ll see but my guess is that he doesn’t pardon anyone he doesn’t know involved in Jan 6th as would presume would increase his own liability to charges. Although he could well pardon himself so that ight be a moot point.
