I totally agree. I don't say this lightly as I never wish bad on people but he deserves to be so much over the edge that hopefully he will be visiting the gates of hell soon enough.

I'm not sure the impeachment thing is worth it at the present time. Far better to concentrate on preparing the new regime and then, once in place, turn the guns on Trump (not literally).
Trump has been very quiet the last few days. I'm not even joking about him being booted from social media. Just generally, he has gone underground. I would expect to see press conferences from him or his staff or evidence of them still carrying out their daily duties.
Surely his followers must be thinking "he's led us into the brown stuff and now he's gone into hiding"? I know a lot of loons think he's being held hostage, but there's enough right wingers with even the slightest hint of a brain that must be coming to the realisation that he's been conning them?

If he's impeached and removed he can't even think about running for office again. He's unable to.

He’s done almost no formal public appearances since he gave that speech in the wee hours of the morning claiming victory in the election. Just a handful of campaign rallies.
Is nobody in the US questioning this? Seems everyone is so preoccupied with impeachment/25th amendment, nobody is keeping tabs on what he's doing or planning in his final days.

Trump has been giving a nod and a wink to political violence for years, openly admired tyrants and repeatedly said he wouldn’t commit to a peaceful transition of power if he lost.
He has never cared about carrying out daily duties. Why would he now?

I doubt history will look favorably on the current US lawmakers if they did nothing to even attempt to remove a tyrant who tried to overthrow democracy. Even if the current attempt is fruitless and mostly symbolic.
I'm starting to think GOP are weighing up the importance of the Trump base vote vs. a clean and total break from him in the hope of recapturing the party and their voters.
