Think it’s far more likely he’s discharging himself against doctors’ advice. He’s pumped full of steroids at the moment, so it’s not surprising he’s feeling better. Next few days will be interesting

Big deceptions can be used to hide bigger deceptions, though - thats how he and his mates work. What they are saying about his health is obviously not true, as only 12% of the people in a polarized nation shows.

@davek might well have a point in terms of the timing of this; we are all talking about whether he is faking it or out of his gourd on drugs when what we should be talking about is how he and the GOP are putting the building blocks in place to forcibly change the election result, which is the clear destination of the road he is leading them down.

And since their whole stategy recently has been to claim that coronavirus was a thing of the past to have the White House become a hot bed of it mere days before the election is very counterproductive.

I dont think its reset the election race; if anything the early evidence has shown he has suffered for it. All I was trying to suggest is that electoral success is not his aim here, and probably hasnt been since Biden became the Democrat nominee - he is going to do something else to "win".
