i think there were chants of 'honor her wish' which at least pertained to her.
Not great optics but I don't care, this is not changing anyones mind and it's giving some very upset, frustrated, scared people a bit of release.
Trump could have shown his respects by honoring her dying wish
Instead he put 'fill that seat' t-shirts for sale on his website the day after she died.

It was a long time ago at a gala event/fundraiser. An acquaintance of ours pointed out he was near us and did we want to go try and introduce ourselves? I was a bit drunk/loud when I said "no" using words that would not make it thru the mods' filter and similarly offended a few around us, to my wife's dissatisfaction.

He was a (largely) Dem donor at the time but still disgusting/repugnant. Didn't want a thing to do with him even then.

Aside from the fact that it’s the right thing for a US president to do, why was he even at the funeral? That sentiment has never encumbered him in the past. Might as well go pay his respects today, I guess, because everyone knows he and the rest of the Republican Party are about to **** all over her legacy in the coming weeks.
