Finished reading Rick Wilson’s latest book recently (one of the guys from the Lincoln Project).
He has a lot to say about that. Basically that while getting Trump out of office is the most important thing in the short term, that the work isn’t done with that, and that all the Trump enabling senators not up for re-election in 2020 still need driving out.
Now obviously his end game is different from that of the Democrats/Progressives, but personally I’m of the mind to take whatever help is on offer, at least for now.
Maybe I’ve watched too many courtroom dramas, but I always thought it was illegal to record without consent

In some states you only need consent of one person involved in the conversation...legally. That doesn’t address the moral issues of doing it

I mean, that's the issue with Fox right there. It's all one sided with blatant lies. Their should be a disclaimer saying what Roger Ailles said, in court, that it's "entertainment, not news" Wayyyy too much of the country sees that and says "well if she says it it must be true" because they don't possess any amount of critical thinking.

Will be interesting to see how his style translates when there’s no crowd to pander to. Can’t imagine it goes well. Also, apparently he’s planning to accept the nomination from the White House, which isn’t in and of itself in violation of the Hatch Act, as he’s exempt as president. However, it is illegal for any member of his staff to work at the event, and his campaign would be responsible for reimbursing the government for use of the facilities. Unfortunately, enforcement of this law basically falls to Trump, so I think we can all imagine what will actually play out.

If it’s got to do with coronavirus and BLM then I’d say good news. But if anyone smart his administration (big ask) gets him to cut that out and go back to basics how he was when campaigning for election it mightgive him a very small outside chance if he nails it. Unlikely. But in the words of king orangutan ‘what has he got to lose’.
