New national surveys mostly confirmed Biden’s sizable lead. This week, The Economist/YouGov found Biden up 9 points, 49 percent to 40 percent, and last week a survey from Research Co. found the same. Rasmussen Reports/Pulse Opinion Research, a pollster Trump often cites in support of his presidency, this week found Biden up 10 points, 50 percent to 40 percent. But not every recent poll has been quite so bullish for Biden — a new poll from Reuters/Ipsos found Biden up 6 points, while a survey last week by Yahoo News/YouGov put him up by just 5 points, 45 percent to 40 percent. Plus, a survey from The Hill/HarrisX found Biden up by just 4 points.

- Continues to take payments from foreign governments throughout his Presidency
- Refuses to release his tax returns, giving only proven lies as a reason why not.
- Charges the US govt for his own secret service protection (including at significantly inflated prices).
- Was impeached.
- Retaliated against the witnesses who testified in the hearings.
- Intervened to change plans for new FBI building in a way that would benefit his own downtown hotel.
- His sister had to resign as her lifetime appointment as a federal judge to avoid investigations into alleged fraud and tax evasion schemes that she and he benefitted from.
- Cabinet secretaries, national security advisers, defence secretaries, White House Chiefs of Staff, White House Communication Directors have all quit and warned publicly about how dangerously unfit he is to be anywhere near the Office of the Presidency.
- STILL promoting a supposed miracle cure for COVID which is both disproven as a preventative and a cure for COVID oh, and by the way it kills some people.
- Those endorsements came both before and after he suggested that people should ingest or inject disinfectants to "clean out" the virus.
- Did this while overseeing almost 140,000 deaths from COVID (probably many, many more)
- Put the DA who gave Jeffrey Epstein a get out of jail free card in the Cabinet.
- Put his son's wedding planner in charge of federal housing.
- Was told that Russia was paying cash bounties for the killing of US (and UK) soldiers, and in the 14 months that followed, took no retaliatory steps and repeatedly said that Russia should be readmitted to the G7.
- Pressured the Post Office to go after Amazon because he doesn't like the Washington Post's coverage of his administration.
- Fired an Inspector General (among many he fired) who was investigating the Secretary of State and his wife because the Secretary of State asked him to.
- Tried to get the G7 meeting held at his own golf club.
- Advertised his wife's jewelry line on the White House website
- Randomly took a surprise, emergency trip to Walter Reed Military Hospital and won't say what for.
- Changed a hurricane forecast (using a sharpie) to fit with the mistakes he'd made in an earlier speech.
- Paid two women (one of them a porn star) to stay quiet about affairs they'd had with him (and falsified financial records to cover up the payments)
FAR from an exhaustive list, but HOW IN THE NAME OF GOD is he only trailing by between 4 and 10 points?
I mean, I know how... but yeesh.
(On a side note, it's mental when you see a decent sized list actually written down like that)

Pretty standard in the US for a physician to use it to screen for cognitive impairment in someone Trump's age.
Yes that is the only reason. Nothing to do with 700K Americans paying federal taxes, but not being represented in Congress.
As I recall we started a war based on that issue.
