Yes, but as you were shown, the ones who are offended in this case are actual native American tribes. And they have been offended for quite a while. Does that not count for something? Do you admit you were wrong when you asserted that no Native Americans were offended and that maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing to change a football team's name out of respect?

I'm not personally offended by statues of Confederate Generals. They don't make me feel bad about myself. I didn't put them up. Still, I think they should be removed from public spaces of honor. I'm guessing a number of Native Americans greater than zero ("nobody") believe the name Redskins should be changed.

The term is a racial slur. As the article states, it is IDENTIFIED as a racial slur and/or dated and offensive in the dictionary ffs

Here I will say "The large majority of native americans can care less".
When most people make a mistake, intentionally or no, they at least acknowledge the mistake. Most people will then also apologize... "I'm sorry I fed you all a line of obvious crap". But that's just not you.
