It's funny that Trump is trying to sue to block the publication of that book on the grounds of national security. I don't think that note poses a national security issue given it is one of the more obvious statements ever made by someone in his administration. And the irony, of course, is that Trump himself is the biggest threat to national security, not some tell-all book by the odious Bolton.

His rally in Tulsa is now three days away and there are ALREADY people camping out for a spot. They are going to pack 19k people into an indoor arena, with Pence talking about renting a second venue to handle the overflow crowd even though most places in the country aren’t even allowing restaurants anywhere near capacity and won’t be for some time. All this against the backdrop of Oklahoma reporting its biggest increase of COVID cases to date. There is no plausible argument that can be made that OK is anything even remotely resembling a battleground state, as Trump got 65% of the vote there in 2016.

This is why we can’t have nice things.
