Please refrain from insults and name calling
I honestly took no offense. It's the internet.Ok I will. It was light hearted but I will refrain. But please don’t feel it necessary to apply balance if ever I should be insulted or called names in here as no offence would be taking.
Sod off verreauxi! Don’t want any of the mild mannered reasonableness here, especially in this threadI honestly took no offense. It's the internet.

lol @Death you are really going to have to be a tad more creativeI actually don't mind insults, especially if they are clever. "Scumbag" doesn't make the cut for me.
Yeah, the whole "protect the borders" nonsense is embarrassing, especially for a self-proclaimed centrist such as @Grinch. It's not clear what the threat is, except for some fat xenophobic idiot who rabble-rouses and scapegoats so that people view non-whites as a threat. Apparently he's bought into that--but maybe Grinch can explain his own point of view on what "protect the borders" means to him.A motto? Really?
Cheeto is most decidedly not a businessman. He's a manchild of privilege who pretends to run a (very secretive, private) business.
Protect the borders from whom? For what legitimate purpose?
The US is not "bringing back" businesses.
The DJI went up but it is a mistake to conflate the average of a certain number of stocks with "the economy".
I'm pleased he is allocating more money to the VA. How much of an impact it has made, I'm not certain based on what I've seen.
I suppose the way he speaks/carries himself could be characterized as "real".
No, half of the country did not vote for him. In fact, since 1996 (when there was a legitimate third party candidate) only one losing POTUS candidate has received a lower percentage of the overall vote than did Cheeto (McCain, who got battered by Obama).
All that said, the POTUS' approval rating, pre-COVID and now, are rather low given all the things you believe him to have accomplished, no?
Emoticons can really help clarify an ambiguous post!I‘ve had a crap few weeks so may have been a tad harsh on @Death, but it was so humdrum it seemed real.
To me the border allows for border patrol to have more time to go through their checkpoints checking for illegal drug entry, human trafficking, gangs, etc. only reason the border is needed. A big strong wall helps protect those people protecting it and surrounding US cities that sit on it.Yeah, the whole "protect the borders" nonsense is embarrassing, especially for a self-proclaimed centrist such as @Grinch. They've been open the whole time.A minor point, but in the UK all McDonald's restaurants have been closed for weeks now. Is it the same in the US? If so, what is Trump doing for sustenance?
