You can follow any of those links above and even do you own research to find out more. He was also slated to cut food stamps until he came under very heavy criticism about doing that during a pandemic.

I don't mean to hurt your feelings when I say that if you rub your four neurons together you might come to the realization that cuts to housing, environment, and science often means a disproportionate negative influence on poor people (e.g., as climate changes the rich can move, the poor cannot; as housing prices change, the rich can move, the poor cannot; as less medicines/vaccines are developed, the rich can find alternatives, the poor cannot). I suspect that this is beyond you though. <--That's not being snarky, I actually suspect that connecting the dots is beyond you.

Here's the percentage of farms that earn under 50,000 a year

Trump's trade war and tarrifs with China have caused suicides and bankruptcies in small farms. And his farmer assistance program did no help as larger farms (in the 500K group) sucked up most of that assistance.

And as for Health care, just in Arkansas alone in 2018, 18000 people lost medicaid/health insurance due to Trump's work requirement. People lost health care because of chronic disability, lack of transportation or childcare in order to work, or because they didn't have a permanent address to find out about the change. Do any of these conditions that I just described sound like they are associated with rich people?

As to hate crimes, which certainly can destroy livelihoods, here is a study showing how they increased disproportionately in counties that had the largest margins of Trump voters:

I could go on, but I wanna leave you with two important points: 1) Because none of the above things have ever negatively hurt your own livelihood you shouldn't care about them. Just keep on doing what you're doing and don't worry about what's happening to other Americans. 2) Make sure to vote for Trump in 2020 because--yet again--you got offended by some left-winger on the internet. And make sure to leave a snarky comment about how you are, in fact, going to vote for Trump in 2020--that'll show me.
He actually did intact disavow our racist redneck from Louisiana multiple times. Believe me I don’t get offended by Left wingers in anyway. I said many times I would vote for Amy because I believe in what she had to offer. I play both sides of the field. I don’t get offended by some mean words trump says. I voted Dem many many times in my own state because they stood for the same beliefs. I don’t like Biden but I am more than happy to vote for him if Amy is in office with him.

i would make a counter but it wouldn’t be read and would only get responses like “Oh here he is defending trump again. Blah blah blah”. Just know half the country voted for him. Many people believe certain things depending on where they are from and how it will benefit them and their families. No need to get your feelings hurt and go all SJW on me. I’m very sensible and not as alt right as you think because I try to play the “bad guy” on these particular threads to give other viewpoints. @LinekersLegs and I think nothing alike but can have decent conversations coming from two different viewpoints. I’d even throw in @Ruairi77 @Prevenger17 and a couple others in that category. But I’ll rub my 4 neutrons together and break apart from your replies until you aren’t so angry.

Ah, I don't really do decent conversations generally mate. I know I roll a bit heavy with the posts sometimes, but no insult is actually meant. Verrauxi is good people too

^^^^^This is that type of clever response that I was hoping for.

But I can't tell you how many times this has happened on this thread when conversing with a Trump supporter. The ole, "I'll deign not to reply because I'll be piled up on and it won't get read" [translation: I'm lazy], coupled with the "you are angry so I'll let you calm down" [reality: not angry at all, just providing the facts that you challenged me to provide, to which you have yet to respond].

I'll wait...

I rarely post in here cos I am not Merican.

But as a Brit, with our less than brilliant PM and Government, I do find it astounding that sane Mericans support this Trump bloke.

Maybe Twitter and social media do him no favours, but to a lot of Brits, he is a dangerous fool. Even his best mate Piers Morgan agrees.
It's actually fairly important that Grinch is posting on here because it gives you an idea of what way a large portion of Americans are thinking.
In real time, we're watching a leader who could literally do anything and people would vote for him in numbers.
Grinch seems like a reasonably smart fella, articulate and well thought out.
But he believes that the media has warped the story when it comes to Trump and the truth is nowhere near as bad as what we're seeing.
Then herd and siege mentality kick in and before you know it, they're all voting for Trump because they believe that because we hate Trump, we hate them.

Sorry not like DMs. Like open thread chat. I forgot the DMs on here are called conversations. And I’m sure he’s a great guy. Everyone on here is pretty awesome I must say. I just like to separate myself from angry chat cause never ends up good for anyone. All for level headed chat

No, I mean that I rarely engage in serious discussion. Trump is and always will be a complete clown to me, and all my posts are a variation on that theme as opposed to an actual contribution, like the ones @LinekersLegs makes to most topics. Think of me as one of your late night talk show hosts with nothing valuable to say

Yeah, tbf to him he's living it and holds his beliefs sincerely. He's not like a toffee9 or one of his million other guises, he's here to defend Clownshoes because he thinks he's done a good job (baffling to me as that is) and not just to wind people up

@Grinch
what I dont get is how Amy Klobuchar changes your vote so much.

She's pro $15 min wage
pro free 2 yr college
pro student debt relief
eliminate the electoral college
supports a ban on assault weapons
supports background checks
Expand obamacare and provide a public option
Pro DACA
raise corporate tax
raise tax on high level earners
slash defense budget

So if she's running with Biden, he gets your vote.
If she's not its 100% Trump...

Maybe it's because she throws staplers around and that's tough?!

She will make absolutely no difference to the policies of a Biden administration (indeed you could argue that if he picks a moderate veep he'll have to move further left to pacify that part of the base, whereas a VP such as Warren would allow him to remain more centrist in his policies while achieving the same) but is somehow a game changer.
