Sadly the fastest way to bring serious gun control to this country would be to arm black people. If a bunch of African-Americans started open carrying assault rifles in areas white people frequent it would all be over in a couple of weeks.

Although true. It would lead to a lot more shootings before they pass the bill. More shootings of innocent unarmed black people.

Or the very least rounding up many black people for no reason. It would go to the extreme before common sense comes forth.

Just like we have seen when there's been black shooters in the past.

Yeah it isn't great, but the situation is so dire that at this point we might have to see a bump before any significant reduction can happen.

Everyone in America is armed so that goes without saying. The open displays? That's more of a white people thing. And I know if an African-American was walking around my local Wal-Mart with a rifle there would be a panic.

It's going to be real bad. I look at South Korea with its 250 deaths (someone will tell me it's because they have less people when I bring it up) starting their baseball league back up because they were smart from the beginning and actually dealt with the problem and I just can't fathom how inept the leadership of the US and other countries in the Western Hemisphere have been. We have to hold them responsible.

I bet you haven't. I bet if you ask your "friends" they would tell you the last thing they are doing with their guns is carrying them in public. Even if the state they live in allows them too.

We have all seen the countless accounts and videos of the different treatment white and black people get carrying guns in public. Even when its allowed.
