Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

The problem prev, is that wasn't a senile comment. A horrendous stupid dangerous one, yes. Arrogant, idiotic, president-ending comment yes. But I think he knew what he was saying. The impression I got is that he thought he was offering leftfield ideas a chance to air, and was already fantasising about one of them working so he can take the credit about being the great saviour. Bonkers, delusional, toxic comment. But not senile.

I'll say it again. The President of the USA advised people, entirely seriously, to inject themselves with bleach. Nothing Biden has said or done comes close, and that is without even considering the library of profoundly stupid things Trump has said over the years, of which there is a constant stream.

Constantly saying "Well, Trump is stupid, but so is..." and other lines of that nature is a simple trick of syntax that allows self-deluding individuals to equate Trump with people who are infinitely more intelligent, competent and less dangerous than he is. There is no comparison between him and Biden

Is the correct answer

Both are incoherent to some degree, Biden more so than Trump right now. As I said above: Trump's incoherence is a known thing amongst the electorate, Biden hasn't had that coverage yet, but he will by the time we get to TV debates.
You speak as if you have more insight into Biden's mental condition than any other consumer of strategically edited YouTube clips. And really, in re: coverage, I'll remind you that Biden was a two-term veep and nothing like an unknown quantity. He's been garbling his language for decades and it's never proved a particular hindrance to his career.

Can’t believe you’re having to explain this to be honest. Vice President for 8 years but unknown by the American electorate ...

Yeah. Americans tend to have short political memories, but how could they forget this?

You've misunderstood what I meant by unknown. I meant his current senility is largely unknown by the wider American public, whereas Trump's current mental status is largely known. TV debates will however even that one up.

That Biden is well-known as a politician is what the Dems are banking on.

You said that remark was proof of Trump being senile. I don't think that's the case. I think it's even worse than that, as I described in my previous reply.

I think what you’ve done here (and it’s a very easy mistake to make) is that you’ve assumed that you have a greater insight into Biden’s cognitive faculties than the entire population of the US.

The entire population don't follow politics like we do here. Those that follow politics realise Biden has dementia. Those that don't, don't.

REALLY?!

I mean, REALLY?

At his absolute most gaffe prone (and it’s worth remembering that Biden has been a gaffe machine for decades, it’s not a new phenomenon) he is without a scintilla of doubt more informed and coherent than Trump has ever been on his best day in office.

And sure even if Biden can’t articulate himself via, let’s say, a sexual advance he just takes what he wants anyway. So maybe not being able to talk isn’t such a handicap to him.

This is absolute bollocks.

Explain.

From the Washington Post, who are not friends of Trump, over 6 weeks ago:

While Biden has always had a propensity for rambling stories and cringe-worthy statements, in this campaign they have become more frequent. It’s undeniable.

Any one of his gaffes in isolation would be nothing more than that. But taken together they form a pattern – and raise questions about whether Biden has experienced a cognitive decline. Biden’s defenders say this is unfair, and some have even suggested raising it is ageism. No, it’s not. His socialist rival, Sen. Bernie Sanders is 78 — almost a year older than Biden — yet no one is questioning his mental fitness.

His dementia, and his history of creepy advances towards minors, will become more known to the general populace by the time folk go out to vote.

Trump is known, everyone knows how he is. He'll still get roughly the same support he did back in 2016. Biden has to improve on Hillary's numbers. It's just not likely.

One possible scenario: is for Biden to first pick a sensible running mate, then for his dementia to escalate so he's out the running, so that by the time September hits the American public know the battle will be between Trump vs Klobuchar, for example. She in turn will choose a sensible running mate This is the best chance for the Dems to win, I feel.

But Trump vs Biden, as a former betting man the favourite would be Donald.

Don't be dumb. That's not the Washington Post's editorial position, that's from an opinion piece by conservative think-tanker and activist Marc Thiessen. You're either being disingenuous or you're an easy mark for rhetoric.

It's quotes from two separate pieces, the most of it comes from Paul Waldman. Not a conservative thinktanker, by any stretch. He votes Democrat, I believe.

Don't be dumb etc. Denying Biden's dementia is the disingenuous thing here.
